Und schon Claude Von Stroke, Joris Voorn und Serge Devant, um nur ein paar zu nennen, stehen auf das neue Stück von @bontanmusic, der aus dem Nordwesten Großbritanniens stammt. Das housige Stück ist Teil der Amsterdam Dance Event-Compilation des spanischen Labels @elrowmusic. British producer Mark Jenkyns joins Hottrax with two separate collaborations alongside vocalist MIZBEE and Ecuador’s Andre Salmon titled ‘Sirens’. 

Having released on Hot Creations, Suara, Of Unsound Mind, Rebellion, Lost Records and Resonance Records, Mark Jenkyns has unquestionably established himself as one of the most sought after producers in modern day house music. As a DJ Jenkyns is a regular name on the line-ups of Paradise Ibiza, when not making appearances at the likes of The Warehouse Project, Lightbox, Digital, Egg and BPM Festival. 

Snappy snares and a meandering bassline lay the foundation for ‘Sirens’ as it continues to generate an infectious rhythm alongside MIZBEE’s scintillating vocal; luring listeners in much like the mythological creature that inspired the track title. Teaming up with Andre Salmon - who’s released on Repopulate Mars, Leftroom and Resonance - ‘Hey Honey’ is a trippy number complete with a heady groove, chopped-up vox samples and synth stabs that’s destined to inject life into any dancefloor it’s dropped.

Fresh from a packed summer of Ibizan parties Darius Syrossian is back on Hot Creations with his pumping Danzer EP featuring a remix from the prolific remixer Adesse Versions.

Darius explains that the idea for Danzer was born out of frustration with current music sounding the same. Inspired by a Floorplan Boiler Room set he wanted to make a track “that has the energy of techno, some funk flavours and also heavily disco influenced. It became a firm favourite at my Amnesia residency with DO NOT SLEEP”.

Danzer is an utterly insatiable peak-time cut with a dizzying drop, powerful female vocal hook and scintillating strings. The techno tool version does what it says on the tin, adding an almighty bassline that reverberates throughout. Initially beginning life as a vinyl edits project, Adesse Versions has gone on to have releases on revered labels including Razor N Tape and Delusions Of Grandeur. On his version he flips the track on its head, taking it on an altogether different route, layering extra percussive pads and womping synths.

2018 has been a huge year for Darius Syrossian. He began a new residency at Ibiza’s infamous Amnesia, alongside big names including Cassy, Martin Buttrich and Alan Fitzpatrick. No stranger to the White Isle, he’s also held down residencies at some of the island’s most prestigious venues. Syrossian has had releases signed to impressive imprints from Moon Harbour to 8Bit and Get Physical to We Are The Brave. This year also saw Darius begin his radio show on Rinse FM, with the imminent launch of his own label, Mozy Muzik, still to come.

Alex Kennon makes his welcome return to Saved this month with two killer cuts on the brand new ‘I Can't Get You’ EP. Already making serious waves with productions on labels including Rebellion, Crosstown Rebels, VIVa and Moan; Alex has proven himself as a respected DJ and producer within the Tech House scene with his tracks having been supported by A-List artists; Kölsch, Solomun, Nic Fanciulli, Steve Lawler and Tale of Us and a successful Best Breakthrough win at the 2018 DJ Awards in Ibiza. The EP kicks off with ‘I Can't Get You’, a track which oozes sophistication with intricate drum fills, an infectious groove and hypnotic, sultry vocals. ‘The Lover’ follows suit with rolling drum grooves, chopped vocal textures, whirring synths and an energetic bassline to get the dancefloor moving. Since launching in early 2019, Dennis Cruz and Eddy M's MÜSE imprint has quickly seen the pairing curate one of the scenes most impressive rising labels - welcoming the likes of Tube & Berger, Piem and Alan Nieves alongside rising talents including Gruuve and Bizen Lopez, whilst also serving as a key outlet to release their own productions and material. Hot on the heels of Cruz's latest stand-out EP, 'KMA', early-August welcomes the debut split EP offering on the label as both co-founders return alongside one another for the very first time to serve up the twotrack 'Show Me / Five'. 

Eddy M's 'Show Me' opens proceedings with authority as the Barcelona-based DJ and producer combines crisp metallic drum lick atop of driving low-end tones and escalating lead lines to deliver a high-energy opening cut, whilst Cruz's bubbling 'Five' employs trademark hooky vocal samples alongside menacing basslines and icy hats to showcase a rolling cut typical of the ever-impressing Spaniard.
