German DJ and producer, Butch, makes his long overdue return to Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records imprint this summer with his brand new single, 'Same Like Dope But Different'. Having spent the last two decades honing and refining his sound, Butch has released on a remarkable list of well-established labels in the scene including Play It Say It, Cocoon, Diynamic, Moon Harbour, CircoLoco, DCLTD, Cecille and more. Few artists flow through genres and emotional landscapes with such ease and fluidity as Butch, challenging preconceptions of the dancefloor and the expected outcome in the process. As an artist, he's always allowed himself to express his take on each genre – it's true that with Butch, you never know what to expect, other than consistently fresh and unique output. 'Same Like Dope But Different' is a deep and tender eight-minute House opus, with hip-swaying drums, a warm, bubbling underlying groove, euphoric synth and chord work, uplifting percussion and an infectious, slow-blooming bassline; resulting in a rich, emotional track that brings something different to the dance floor. Expect to hear this everywhere this summer season!

I love to share Soul, Funk and Disco and a whole lot more. I have been heavily into rare grooves of the R&B variety since the early 2000's enjoying the club scene in Leeds Northern England where I essentially grew up. I love it all from Northern Soul to rare disco...if its uplifting funky and danceable I'm all over it!
I got my first turntables in 2013 living in Northern BC and have been enjoying playing Serato vinyl whenever I get the chance!
Moved to Rossland in 2016 and have really been enjoying the vibrant dj scene here. In 2020 transitioned to playing boutique events around the kootenays and recorded a monthly radio show Regen Rhythms for https://www.iamsoundacademy.com and Kootenay Coop radio.

Hi all! It's a pleasure to have you here in my SoundCloud.
