Radioaktivitet är första singeln från Emil Jensen kommande nya skiva – I det nya landet. I låten hörs även Klara Söderberg från First Aid Kit för första gången på svenska. Den nya skivan är inspelad med Tobias Fröberg i producentstolen, djupt ute på den Gotländska landsbygden - men tematiken är väldigt global. "I det nya landet" är på samma gång Emils mest personliga och mest politiska skiva.
 
”Radioaktivitet är längtan efter passion och separation i en och samma inandning, med två olika röster. En kär en försvann plötsligt iväg upp i rök, medan en kär vän kom hem och visade semesterbilder från Tjernobyl. Som den kärnkraftsmotståndare jag är, kunde jag ändå inte stå emot utmaningen att låta radioaktivitet vara metafor för kärlekens sköna fräs och sprak. Halveringstiden är väl ungefär densamma. ”

 Our best version of the classic Velvet Underground track. We tried about 10 times to record this song, but the results were never very tight. This version I think is strong enough to share.  Miss Mess and Sonny Blood absolutely back each other up to the very top, lots of support from the awesome Bryce Martin,  Tim Moore as well! At Patrick Jennings Underground Paradise Place, he calls it Unseasonable Sound Studio.
