I'm very proud to present Embrace (feat George Maple), the first song from my new EP, which comes out today.

Getting the chance to release music through Snapchat gave me the perfect opportunity to show everyone the version of Embrace that I've always heard in my head. George Maple and I actually wrote Embrace together, so having this come full circle, and to have her singing on the song, feels like a dream. The song Embrace is all about re-connection, and so having George back in my studio again, singing the song, felt like it was meant to be. I'm so stoked to be able to share this with you guys, and I hope you like it!

Each day this week we'll be releasing another song, accompanied by a music video on Snapchat. The most exciting part is that we actually shot all four music videos as a 17 minute short film. We'll be releasing the videos every day this week, so be sure to head to the Snap Channel on Snapchat to catch up and to get lots of behind the scenes extras and interviews!

Lessons in Disco - with the 3MF! 
Alex Saat, or preferably 3MF, recently released his magnificent “Now EP” on Emerald & Doreen and already is coming back with double dose of unearthly disco energy. There couldn’t be better title for his upcoming album than “Move”. Cause when you submerge yourself into this explosive funky title track you find your feet beating out a rhythm and your body tenderly shaking. Before you realize what’s going on you already  started to... MOVE! This gifted disco wizard based in Mexico describes his art as “Music for dancing with your eyes closed”, nothing more there is to say. With this exceptional EP - to do justice to tradition – comes along a  cheerful action pack of remixes crafted  by some of our label’s favorite virtuosos. Copycat slows it down a little and adds his trademark vintage disco synths and some sexy lush handclaps. Elektromekanik delivers a pulsating, laid back lounge reminiscent of Kruder & Dorfmeister at their best times. MATTIZD takes it to the deep house floor and gets it going for the club while Elektromekanik just cannot  get enough of the track and throws in an atmospheric instrumental dub version.
Finally the man himself brings it home with his insane 80s new wave rock “Digital affection”, quoting tongue in cheek the sound and style of famous Aussie band INXS. What a banger!

We, at Media Blackout, are always looking for outstanding and fresh music to rock the clubs and bring joy and happiness to the people. Our landmark 50th release ‘Reload' by Moscow based Killy Cakes is no different. They finally make their highly anticipated debut on Media Blackout with ‘Reload' which uses a melodic synth, stunning vocal and brilliant effects to create a bubbling ambience resulting in a distinct, nu disco feel, destined to leave you wanting more and further cementing Killy Cakes status as rising stars in the scene.

French maestro and Media Blackout favourite, Douze returns to the label with his outstanding remix of ‘Reload' which effortlessly intertwines classic house chords and sexy beats to create a funky groove that is sprinkled with hypnotic synth stabs and mesmerising vocal licks, making this a instant club smash whilst remaining faithful to the original.

Another Media Blackout all-star, England-based Le Flex makes a welcomed return to the label with his excellent 'Reload' interpretation, with simple yet elaborate chords riffs, which are what we've always been most drawn to. Le Flex's remix is the perfect sing along track to make every crowd go nuts with its catchy vocal licks and the funky synth and guitar progressions, not to forget the groovy nu-disco club beat that pounds all the way through.

To close out this milestone Media Blackout all-star release, we give you none other than Mr. Elektromekanik himself. His remix focuses in on the groove, cleverly chopping the beats and vocal to create a moody and cool edge vibe, which in combination with some swinging drums establishes so much positive energy that it takes you right to the main room of any house club in the world, emphasising the vast musical spectrum this release has on offer.
