미간을 찌푸린 채 천장에게 인사를 건넨다. "시발."
직후 일어나자마자 아파트 복도 창가에서 담배를 태웠다.
평상시는 두 개비에서 멈춰야 할 담배가 오늘은 다섯 개비가 되고나서야 멈출 수 있었다.

악몽은 아니였다. 아픔도 없고 슬픔도 없었다.
오히려 나는 꿈에서만큼 즐거운 편이였고 지금 그게 제일 큰 난제로 다가왔다.
