Blues Rock sequel, this is an exact sequel to the song red house by Jimi Hendrix experience and it’s talking about the red house again and how the protagonist wonders in the house it’s not complete blues like the original red house but there is some and strong guitar playing and at one point, we thought about cutting the song in half because there’s a spot where it slows down and it could be divided into two, but we kept it in one and we hope you enjoy

This was a complete experiment and modeled after going through a period of listening to Aenima by TOOL. To this day neither one of us know what time signature its in, but it works. A megaphone was even used on the vocals like Maynard (singer of TOOL). The drums were laid down last and Jon just had listen to it once and then he nailed it in one take. His nickname became "one take Jon" after his performance on this track

This is a cover not written by Saxon Mother, it was written and performed by Lee Hazelwood, a baritone voiced ( I prefer his voice over Johnny Cash) country performer known for his duets was Nancy Sinatra , this is our rendition and tip of our hat to him. Enjoy!

This is the same music as "Old Country" and since Jon and Drew have Irish in their blood. This song we decided to add lyrics and the first mellow lyrics are sung by Drew and the "Leprechaun" is voice "One take Jon" and he nailed the damn voice perfectly. Enjoy, we would love feedback on this one.

Hey There

We are Saxon Mother, a 2 piece rock band based out of Elizabeth City,NC . Andrew Rhodes on guitars and bass and Jon Miller on Drums and percussion. Our first album, which will be a double album, should be released in about 2 months. The first side is actual recorded songs with many different instruments while the second side will be improvisations. We’re heavily inspired by Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Rush, The Doors mainly classic rock, but also literally everything else and we want to play all types of genres instead of sticking with one genre. We feel there should be songs on our albums that at least everyone should like at least one instead of the whole album being one type of music.
