Morgan State University [2004] - Do It (One More Time)

My first full composition, written for orchestra. This piece encapsulates a time of of old in Japan. The sounds of a ceremony can be heard, then sudden calamity comes when the castle and village are attacked. Samurai spar with each other, cannons are fired, and the horn is sounded as a warning to escape. Then there is a peace over the castle and village. Their home is but a burning heap of rubbish, lives have been lost, but they will carry on.
