Denver-based duo Marcel & Janelle are Marcel Anthony Arocha and Cynthia Janelle Arocha. Their fresh mix of IndieSoul music offers a positive vibe, entertaining show & inspiring tunes... which are just a few of the the reasons the ever-growing crowds at shows across the country are as diverse as the music. The husband/wife team met in West Michigan in 2008 and collaborated on their first band together, "Under the Sun" in 2010. After achieving local success in Michigan with their soulful, rhythmic style, they decided to showcase their sounds outside the Midwest and turn the four piece into a touring duo. Under the Sun became Marcel & Janelle and the couple relocated to their new home base in Denver, CO.

Ambient guitar soundscapes occasionally colliding with field recordings. Guitar textures and drones done with looping, layering, feedback and pedal manipulation.
