In a career that has spanned two decades, SAYNT’s signature warm and playful sound has driven dancefloors across the United States, Central and South America, and Asia.   As an ethnomusicologist, musician, and sound artist, SAYNT blurs the lines between all shades of House and warm global textures to craft sonic atmospheres that cannot be described, only felt.  SAYNT has been fortunate enough to appear alongside the industry’s top names at festivals and club nights around the globe. He is the founder of LA’s Ninja Skillz Music Collective, Creative Director for the Leyenda Festival, and a resident of Dancegruv Radio. His commitment to the music, the people, and the Vibe is evident in every track that he plays.

Sammy grew up in and around New England, finally landing on the East end of Long Island.  Addicted to music at a very young age Sammy was a skilled mix-tape DJ, but it wasn't until he found himself in LA that the door opened for him to House music and the scene that went with it.

Sammy was introduced to Jesse Wright through a mutual friend in 2002 and that was pretty much the beginning of the end.  Together Sammy and Jesse formed Pocket Underground and starting throwing parties in a warehouse location right in the center of Hollywood.  Shortly thereafter Sammy took a credit card to Guitar Center and bought his first pair of Technique 1200's.

Since then Sammy has made asses shake all over the West coast, from San Fran to Mexico.  He's had the immense honor of playing on The Do LaB stage at Coachella multiple times since 2007, his crew Pocket Underground held a monthly residency at the mega-club Spundae LA from 2005-2007, and Sammy and Jesse run the Woogie Stage at the annual green festival Lightning in a Bottle where they've booked talent including Lee Burridge, John Digweed, FKJ, Pumpkin, Miguel Migs, Alexi Delano, Camea, Damian Lazarus, Danny Howells, Acid Pauli, Francois K, Adam Beyer,  Sandra Collins, John Tejada, Claude VonStroke, Nick Warren, Jay Tripwire and many more.  He's played several times at the SF LoveFest Parade (So fun!!), Public Works, Avalon Hollywood, Burning Man, Elysium Festival, Fuente Eterno, King King and more underground parties than you can shake a stick at.

Now based out of the Las Vegas area, Sammy spends most of his time wrangling his 2 little girls and live streaming music on Twitch!
