The Debut Album by Detroit Swindle. It has everything you would expect from the Swindles, some slow burners with a hint of disco, some deep house, some banging club monsters and hey, even some leftfield hip hop jams.

The album opens with "B.Y.O.", a track that balances nicely between the DS shuffle and an old school New York style block party. The track is a taste of things to come for the rest of the album, hinting towards a big party vibe, but mellow enough to make it a really interesting listen.

The one thing Detroit Swindle are known for best is their knack for picking the right vocals. For Boxed Out, they came up with some perfect partnerships. They recorded "64 Ways" with none other than one of America's finest soul singers: Mayer Hawthorne. Being a fan of their sound he proposed to do a track together in return for a remix on one of his album originals to be released in 2014. "64 Ways" has a lazy shuffle, a bunch of catchy rhodes chords and few well placed layers of synths that give this track a hint of "Detroit Experiment", wrapped up in an almost poppy house jam.

One of the other vocal tracks is "Thoughts of She", that effortlessly samples the voice of UK soul singer Alice Russel from the track "Pushin' on" by "The Quantic Soul Orchestra". There's also the gorgeous track "Center of Gravity" that has Berlin based, Ghanese-Canadian soul singer Sandra Amarie on vocals. It's particularly this track that reflects the true spirit of Detroit Swindle's music, a mixture of soul and UK garage meets Detroit house slowed down to a sexy groove with some of their trademark pads and stabs.

They pushed themselves to explore different tempos as well, which not only resulted on some slow house burners, but also in 2 hip hop tracks. "For the Love of..." is a homage to the old school sounds of "J. Dilla", "A tribe called Quest" and "The Pharcyde", combining off-beat shuffles, a gritty bass line and a warm cut-up soul sample. "You, Me, Here, Now" is almost a love song, disguised in a s(w)ing-a-long down tempo type of track. It's one of those "one more tune" kinda tunes.

So there's hip hop, there's soulful vocals, but It just wouldn't be a Detroit Swindle album without a few bangers on it. "Huh, What!", "Shotgun", "The Fat Rat" and "He's Just This Guy, You Know?" are all relentless dance floor monsters, pushing the tempo to match old school Chicago and New York house cuts from the late 80's and early 90's.

With these tracks "Boxed Out" has a great combination of gritty percussions, hot vocals and catchy chords and it is exactly this recipe that has become the much-loved trademark of Detroit Swindle's house universe. The album has a little bit of everything in exactly the right dose, making it both a good listen, and an extremely infectious club album.

Since early 2007, he has launched and manages V.I.M. (Very Important Music) Records, releasing quality Breaks, Tech-House, Electronica singles and albums by many International and Greek artists. In the beginning of 2011 he has started the Afrotropical parties/events DISCOTECA INTERNACIONAL with great success till today, while together with Stama (ERASE RECORDS owner) he has launched DIABLO LOCO RECORDS, a label inspired by traditional Mexican wrestling and the famous Luchadores, specialized in top quality Tech-Breaks/Tech-Funk releases. DIABLO LOCO RECORDS managed to won the BREAKSPOLL’s 2012 BEST NEW BREAKS LABEL AWARD. At the beginning of 2013 he has launched another quality label called DEEP GARNET RECORDS, a label focusing on the deeper side of Breaks with Deep and Futuristic breaks monthly releases and in 2014 he launched the Booty-Breaks label FANTOMAS RECORDS focused mainly on the Booty-Bass sound! In the beginning of 2015  together with Larry SKG and Forgivmi launched the higly successful Electronic Afrotropical label SHANGO RECORDS.

Jack Doe’s interest for music has been since he was a little boy. It made him visit all the big parties in Holland and even beyond the borders. Also it made him realize that he really wanted to work in the music business.His first active steps into the world of music came with organizing his own parties. One of his highlights was a rave with a gig from the later number one deejay of the world at his rave in 2009. After some years of organizing parties, his interest switched to the wheels of steal itself. He started spinning in 2014 and his first gig as an active deejay was in 2015.The music that he like to play is binary. He love to play techno with a dark and underground groove. He also like to do a gig with deep/tech-house full of warm influences, which brings up the feeling of summer.With gigs in clubs like Club NL, PIP, Privilege, Tunnelclub and High Club Sofia alongside titans such as: The Yellowheads, Timmo, TKNO, Ilija Djokovic, Rob Hes, Lucien Foort, Olivier Weiter, Warren Fellow to name a few. Also he released on labels such as: Tauten, Yin Yang, Reload Black, I Am Different, PtntR, Gt Muzika, Gain Records and mTechno Records with remixes done by Steve Mulder, TKNO, D.R.D.N.Y., Percy Immers and Callum Plant. Allready hitting the beatport’s Hard techno charts with a 12th place, the start of Jack Doe’s journey is already bursting with success. Already touring countries such as Bulgaria, Serbia, Ibiza and more to be announced.

Polar Inertia is a hazy and oracular entity, that positions itself as a
complex faction whose work is influenced by the sci-fi mythology surrounding techno music.
Since its creation, Polar Inertia multiplies various artistic collaborations, which are gradually incorporated in the thick fog that conceals
dissimulate the exact nature and extent of its activities.
Beyond the music and the records, the members of Polar Inertia are also the authors of texts, photographic works, printed artworks and specific live performances for different context.
They have often been invited to contribute to various revues, editions or art books. Their course of creation thus takes the direction of a polymorphic artistic process, bound to evolve in various fields of contemporary creation.
