Maestoso (Italian pronunciation: [ma.eˈstoːzo]) is an Italian musical term and is used to direct performers to play a certain passage of music in a stately, dignified and majestic fashion (sometimes march-like) or, it is used to describe music as such.[1]  Maestoso also is associated with the advent of Classicism, Romanticism, and the newer forms of Neo-Classicism and Neo-Romanticism. The interpretation of maestoso is varied by the conductor depending upon the overall style in which the piece is written. Used as more of an interpretive choice, this term is not always associated with a specific tempo or tempo range.

Today marks the one year anniversary of one of our most important tracks, The Past Catches Up Mk. 1!

All of the TPCUs have been completed now, and that era of Quicksilver is behind us now. But on this special day we figured we'd give the "series" a sendoff with one final anniversary special. Thank you as always to Toadie for everything they've done.

Holy damn it's been a whole year since The Past Catches Up Mk. 1? I mean I know this whole daily upload thing didn't start until around December but still, that feels absolutely crazy at this point honestly given how fast things have been going so far recently. I'm really happy with how far things have come since then though and I'm excited to see where things go from hereon out!

The Past Catches Up ~ Homecoming

This song is not a replacement for anything. It plays during the meeting with Gaster in a Genocide route (or a Neutral route if you've killed a certain number of people by this stage), where he is aware of the deaths you have caused and decides that your SOUL would be better off with him. He can be spared, by reminding him of your common goals. He must be killed for a Genocide route.
