I am pleased to welcome you all the first edition of my new mix series "Conference Calls." 

Conference Calls. will be an ongoing occurrence throughout the year, typically about 40-45 minutes in length, and may or may not have a theme to each collection.

This first edition does not have an initial theme but is here to begin the process and establish the series... a Mission Statement one might say. lol

This first edition though does in fact feature new material mostly from the upcoming 2 disc album, as well as a couple goodies that I know people have enjoyed me playing out at shows this past year and will probably appreciate being able to listen at their leisure.

Someday Is Today is the latest installment of Derlee’s signature sample-based style. A nostalgic, yet forward-thinking celebration of familiarity amid unfamiliar times. This EP carries 6 new tracks, but much more just under the surface. The soundtrack to many days, months (years). The mundane, yet also the memorable. This time will remain unfinished, imperfect, but always complete. Someday Is Today serves as our gentle reminder.

Colorado native Jordan Panasewicz rocks the moniker SayWhat?! representing a deranged man-child turnt panda bear. For over 10 years in the saturated Colorado scene, SayWhat?! has actively avoided following trends, and simply delivers the unique musical productions sent to him by the pandaliens from another universe. Now coining the genre "Ratchet Jazz", his productions are full of complex chords, jazzy riffs, and momentary filth. Slap n wobble bass lines work cohesively with hip hop rhythms and vocal samples to create a new era of jazz music that you didn't yet know you needed. Live trumpet and Electronic Woodwind Instrument in his performance are the icing on top, that will surely have you saying, "WHAT?!".
