Allen Husley (Live) - Maxa - Burning Man 2024

I had the pleasure of playing my live set at the Maxa Deer Art Car at Burning Man last year. It almost felt like drifting through the cosmos on a flying sculpture. With a thumping sound system, open skies, and wild hearts all around, it was one for the books. 

Grateful for the ride, the energy, and everyone who showed up and danced with me out there.

Dear friends, I'm grateful to share with you the recording of a morning session I had the pleasure to DJ on the cutest art car, Lucy S Cargo the colourful Sonic Snail 🌈  after sunrise on Friday AM at Burning Man 2024.

It was a sunny Friday morning on this love planet, smiling and taking life as it comes, lightly and playfully. 

I was so glad to DJ alongside @christianvoldstad and after my brother @dextercrowe who was soundtracking his first sunrise session on the playa so beautifully! I recommend you start with his set so you can hear the earlier chapter of this sunrise journey.  

Gratitude & Mettā - May the light of this moment be shared with all beings who need it.   ❤️

Burning Man 2024 - Dacha Camp ( Opener )

¨Our set at the Mayan Warrior during Burning Man was a blast! It was our final performance of the week, and every ounce of inspiration we had gathered poured out in that moment. As we played through the night, surrounded by the iconic Mayan Warrior flames, we grooved and danced, letting the energy flow freely together with such an excited audience ! At one point, Thomas even climbed on top of the car to sing, feeling entirely at one with the crowd and the desert. The night was electric, a surreal experience. Thank you all for dancing and thank you Mayan Warrior.¨

Thomas and Julien are Dutch brothers from South of France. They propose either Hybrid DJ or live acts cutting from Jazz, House & Techno  mixing several genres while keeping this uplifting, dirty and groovy feel. 

Passionates in authentic sounds, they produce their music through field recordings. Their video concept "A Day In” translates cultures through field recordings and collaborations with local and traditional musicians. They already have concluded first collaborations with Gnawa musicians in Morocco, Huichol tribe musicians in Mexico, Icelandic choir, and musicians from Osaka, Bengalor, Fiji Island, Bangkok and more. 

With releases on Crosstown Rebels, DGTL, Sapiens, Bar 25 and their own imprint, Klassified Records, the two brothers also run the Klassified Studios, a co-creative space in Amsterdam.
