Episode 80 sees me husky voiced and bringing the vibes as best I can, with a selection of mid tempo rollers, sexy slow mo numbers and banging promos. There’s my new one on And Friends Records in there, plus new bits from Andy Buchan, Moodena, Ezirk and more.

In hour 2 it’s my great pleasure to introduce a DJ whose sets I’ve really been digging over the last 6 months or so. She’s called Sbeen Around, and is from Reykjavik in Iceland. She’s got an exceptional talent for mixing up the smoothest, deepest vibes and I’m pleased to say she’s delivered in style for this mix. She brings us 63 minutes of beautiful deep and soulful house. The whole mix is lovely, but there are a couple of tracks right in the middle that just raise the roof.

Last month she had her first b2b night in club Paloma, Reykjavik which is the most popular club for House/Techno music in Iceland. Just this week she had an hour set on Elements crew radioshow, but they have guest DJ come play in their show. Allthough she enjoys a pleased dancing crowd at the clubs, she enjoys the most being in her safezone, the livingroom at home, mixing an oceanwide selection of tracks. This is only the early start of Sara's journey as a DJ.

Sara this last time has arrived and has been involved in the house music scene in a very good way. She has surprised us with her outstanding dj sets, her mixing and selection skills.

She has her own show at House Salad Music called '' MUG Melodies '' where she proposes her best house selection.

Born and mostly raised in Iceland since 1982, Sara was first introduced to house music back in 2007.  and since then has been on a house journey,  finding the sub genres within the wide range of house music while experimenting with house/deep house/tech house and techno. 

She first got on the decks in 2014, and that was  she discovered her real passion for house music & mixing tracks. - Now, since late 2016 she has been making it a goal to better her mixing skills to become the very best DJ she can be.

Having her own mix series, Mug Melodies on House Salad Music, Sbeen Around is rapidly becoming a household name in the house community and we are stoked to have her part of our family!

The Story: Halloween 2014, Sara attended her friends birthdayparty, a costumeparty (of course). She came as her friend throwing the party, dressed up as she knew him when he was spinning around. A DJ. Never been behind the decks. After being shown some basics, playing tunes she never heard before for a few hours, she left that party with some whole new feels, saying aloud: I have to do this again.

Since then, mainly from late 2016 (with better access to some DJ equipment) going by the DJ alias Sbeen Around. She has been feeding her passionate house soul by spinnin' delicious tunes from various house-genres. Groove is the feel in every performance.
