This project is a "Tribute", lovingly dedicated to "Our Dear Friend", DANIEL LEWIS DIEDRICH: a very *real* soul with a constant brilliant mind, the "on switch" being the only option available. 
He is a friend, a best friend, a brother, a motivator, a thinker, a traveler,  a partner, a partner in crime, a poet, a writer, a singer, a songwriter, a collaborator, a musician, a producer, a minimalist, a one man band, and his very own full backing (and fronting) band. 
Born in Wichita, made his way through Omaha, Chicago, and California, always making a name for himself as he passes through. 

We here, a few fellow musicians, singer/songwriters, bands, friends, and family of his, all of whom he cared everything for, and vise versa, have come together to create something special for him. 
This is a collection of some of our favorite songs of yours, Daniel (a/k/a Emcee DL/MCDL, Tommy Tapehead, Hugh Manatee, Silverman, Elfsquad, and whatever else you were), covered and recorded by us, alongside a few originals you've inspired us write.

We thank you, Daniel, for existing, and for including yourself into all of our existences, too, for as long as you did. This the *least* we could do, yo!  So very many people, quite possibly way more than you might've ever expected (or admitted) would, are missing you very hard, right now. We're all here, everyone's still right where you left us. Only now, we are missing you, missing you the very hardest somebody can possibly ever do (in this dimension anyway). We are forever grateful of you, for sharing with us that trippy, inspirational, wonderfully fucked up, imperfect human mind of yours for as long as you were able to, all the while you were struggling, sometimes fiercely, to tolerate sticking around.
