En signant la deuxième sortie du label Blue Night Jungle, le duo DudMode agite ses machines et ses inspirations autour d’une acid techno mystique et sauvage, parfois minimaliste, parfois extravagante. Deux faces d’une même pièce que les lyonnais cherchent à exploiter en invitant, tout au long de la face B, deux artistes avec lesquels ils se sentent proches : Jibis, fer de lance d’un nouveau beat techno dense et aérien ; Vardae, gérant de son propre label Allegorythme et défenseur d’une vibe mentale et obscure. « Une Nuit Dans l’Herbe » EP marque ainsi le retour en force des enfants de la rave culture lyonnaise, déjà consacrés par une longue et sensuelle expérience de la scène.

Signing on the second release of the label Blue Night Jungle, the duo DudMode disturbs its machines and inspirations around a wild and mystical acid techno - sometimes minimalistic, sometimes extravagant. Two faces of a same coin which the Lyon guys are trying to explore by inviting, for the whole B face, two french artists they feel very close with : Jibis, head-speaker of a new techno beat both dense and aerial ; Vardae, owner of the label Allegorythme Records and great defender of a more mental and obscure vibe. « Une Nuit Dans l’Herbe » (« One Night In The Grass ») EP marks the strong come back of lyonnese rave culture’s children, already sanctified by a long and sensual experience on the stage.

Vault Heist Vol.1 contains two wicked acid infused techno tracks from the archives of Vmax Records.

1094T3 & 1194295T3 are early works constructed back in 1994 by Heath Brunner A.k.A Silicon, H&S. The two-works contained on this release are layered with a steady pace of rhythms, acid synth lines, that blend together in ordered chaos not uncommon with Brunner’s early works. If you are looking for some underground acid tech, this is the pure stuff so don’t miss out!

Deano, Silvan, Rose Bonica and Faretrade each explore a unique focus within the realms of electro, broken beat and techno, whilst contributing towards the common emotive atmosphere of City Bowl Wax Network’s second compilation issue. The release will be distributed to all streaming and sales platforms on the 24th of June. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the physical release has been offset until later in 2020.

A1 opens with Deano’s Stainless Steel, a track that demonstrates the versatility of one of South Africa’s most promising techno producers. A long, broken intro steadily builds into a pulsating electro cut, complemented by creeping atmospherics. Progressively applied distortion builds the energy of the track over several bars, accompanied by a dazzling synth that slowly emerges alongside carefully treated percussion. The track evokes an attitude occupying the intersection between the old and new schools. This is a fresh sound for the talented producer, yet still unmistakable Deano in its approach.
