The name SBVRT Sound originates from a combination of three of our strongest influences; Au5, Haywyre, and KOAN Sound. 

Our favorite song, Subvert by Au5 and Fractal, was remixed by Haywyre, who threw the song in a completely new light. The versatility from heavy dubstep to melodic glitch hop embodied in the name "Subvert" allowed it to be the perfect representation of the variation in music that we aim to create. 
Then, along comes KOAN Sound. With their awe-inspiring melodies and raw crunchy sounds, we decided to structure our name after them- SBVRT Sound.
