Blackouse are a 4 piece band from Halifax, England and are definitely one to watch out for. With ever increasing popularity and attendance at gigs, they are proving to the north with solid evidence that the guitar isn‘t dead yet . Blackouse are one of the rare unsigned bands around at the moment who spend most of their time writing and rewriting songs, working on hooks and lyrics and binning anything that is less than perfect. They have a incredible ability to balance the melodic and harmonic elements of a song with a quiet yet powerful emotional core. Although the band have been putting off releasing a ‘proper’ ep over the years, with the increasing success they have gained recently they have decided to go back into the studio to record an ep which will be available to buy in the spring.
