Manchester-based Polish artist Greg Ochman @gregochman (Lost Miracle, Traum, Radiant) presents his first EP on Univack Records titled 'Velvet Sun', with 3 awesome original mixes, and two first-class remixes by the well-known progressive and  organic house artists Dabeat @dabeat_music and Rafa'EL @rafael-music  

Greg may seem a newcomer, but he isn't. With this aka you can find releases since 2020, but he has a lot of music releases in all type of formats as other names like 'Robot Needs Oil'. When you listen to the music made by Greg Ochman, you instantly know that you are listening a special and different music. His pieces are rich in melodic elements which work together to get a unique lighting harmony. Chords, arpeggios, sequences, scales influenced by flamenco, eastern and balcanic music are mixing with brilliant  grooves that will present you a magic journey between the beautiful landscapes. 

Well known Dabeat and Rafa'EL return to Univack, this time to work on the difficult task of remixing Greg's originals, contributing with the just elements and modifications to get 2 hi-quality remixes each of them with the top technique and genuine style of these two great artists. After several releases on cool labels such as Random Collective or Serenades, Playground records is honored to present it’s 39th reference from this talented French producer. ‘Sombras y Sueños’, is not only the name of the release but also expresses part of Pierre's personal biography. He spent some time living in Mexico where he could absorb the oniric language of rituals and the telluric forces of nature.
Before jumping in, we want to warn you about the magnetic power of this album.
Five original tracks full of hypnotic rhythms, downtempo feelings, post-funk groove, organic instrumentations and folk insinuations that build one immersive imaginary jungle. A place out of time, a nowhere land. The perfect scenario for a slow motion dance out of the ordinary everyday reality.

Harking back to the sound of squelchy synthesisers and click of drum machine pads, this track is here to show that acid house is very much still alive. And who better to play host to this, than the master DJ Fast Eddie himself!

We welcome 2016 with the fourth reference of Scalectric Music signed by one of the new talents of House Music in Spain, Ekai. 100% Scalectric sound release which also has remixes of Diego Moreno and Ivan Smoka.

Ekai has managed to give us just we look for in Scalectric Music, Old School touch and acid sounds spiced with 90`s House stuff. "My Luv" the song that opens this EP, describes perfectly the style that we want for Scalectric. A cheerful track, designed for the dancefloor, 909 sounds and 90´s synths transport us to another time and also provides the force of the current sound of this style. In the second cut "Acid Can" we found a sound with a little more Funky character, without losing that energy so fresh. 2 bombs
worthy of the best tracks.

Commissioned to remix "My Luv" was Ivan Smoka, the legendary DJ and producer from Madrid with the collaboration of the Mexican Dr. Vertiz. Ivan take us out a bit of ecstasy and madness to bring us into a more atmospheric level with acid lines and New Wave synths. A seven minutes trip ideal for letting go.

The ep closes with one of the bosses of the recognized label "Digital Delight" Diego Moreno. He gives us a very powerful version of "Acid Can" but darker than the original, bordering the psychedelic at some points of the track. A bunch of Old School and Groove managed with quality.

In this 2016 we keep up our roots with a mix of recognized national underground producers among great projection and enthusiastic artists. So stay tuned because big surprises are coming this year!
