Bouncing back onto Dispatch with the first of two new EPs, DBR UK arrive with four tracks that make up their “Say What You Want EP”, alongside vocal support from Amanda Seal as well as Structured on the production front.  

Opening with “Paranoia”, its serious roller business from the Luton based trio; an essential head swinger for the arsenal. Dark, raucous beats form the core of the EP, as the sirens of rap tinged “Kick’n Ya Door” echo over the murky, twisted low ends in a raw encounter. 

Offering an escape from the darkness, title track “Say What You Want” takes a more retrospective stance, with the vocals of Amanda Seal softly balancing throughout the track and holding all the elements together effortlessly. Skipping to the last track, the vocals harmonise with lighter pads, only to set the calm scene before “The Storm”. Structured features on the final track to close off the EP in explosive DBR fashion.

2014 stands as a defining moment for the RAM Records imprint. Not only did it announce the pivotal signing of artists like Audio, Teddy Killerz and Bensley but they also oversaw the birth of compilation series RAMLife hosted by Loadstar. Even in its first form, it contained nearly every essential release the last twelve months had to offer. 

But this year, RAMLife is taking you into deeper and murkier dimensions. Mr. Williamz & Top Cat ride in with another full clip from usual suspects Aries & Jacky Murda, Worldwide Travellers who just returned from another cheap flight that the promoter paid for with his life .. Gold Dubs dares any witness to come forward and Tell Mi Who. Dope Ammo licks another shot as Williamz makes them know who indeed is the Girls Dem Dada. Marcus Visionary’s ganja-fueled spliff-shooter appears seemingly simultaneously All Over Town, while imported English cowboy King Yoof asks the timeless Shakespearean question: Have You Ever?. Dreadlocked outlaw Tuffist joins Austrian gunman Max Powa alongside the west-country’s most-wanted, J Man, burning down saloons and speak-easys till the people fill the streets and Holla Fi We.. K Jah’s message at the gallows in town square lets everybody know exactly why Chopstick is still Wanted and searched on the streets. Finally King’s Hifi takes the control center as Williamz and King Kong explain why lawmen who hunt the posse are bound to experience a Rumble Jumble Life.  Chopstick Dubplate shot the sheriff and the deputy, so it’s murda they charged for… musical murda!

S-capade got into the sound of hardcore jungle in the early nineties, based on his background as an active drummer for more than 15 years. He supported DJ sets with the drums and then he became a DJ himself. He is promoter and resident at the Massive Tunes, Heat! and Oxygen partys in Aachen. S-capade regularly plays out at different drum'n'bass events in the three country corner Germany, Netherlands and Belgium. His style is from dark & rollin into the big bad and heavy sound.
