Passionate about electronic music for as long as he cares to remember, [mayes:ON] aka producer Joe Mayes, 37, has been honing his craft since the tender age of 15 on various DAWs.

Having settled on a distinctive deep-house sound, this unsigned artist now looks set to blow up and invites you to be a part of his journey from hereon in. 

With an ear for catchy hooks, dubby basslines and hi-hats to give even the most vigilant of listeners a serious bout of tinnitus, he seeks to share his tracks with anyone willing to listen.

Joe counts influences from; Zoo Brazil, Scott Diaz, Black Loops, Michael James, Copy Paste Soul, Darius Syrossian, MJ Cole, Tuccillo, Tom Middleton, Subb-an, Leon Vynehall, Nic Fanciulli, Dachshund and Paul Woolford to name but a few.

I'm Shawn , a  34 year old from the UK, who appeared on The X Factor in 2007. My journey started on the 21st August 2007 at the Alexander stadium in Perry Barr, Birmingham for my open audition.  I was then recalled two days after to the NEC Birmingham where TV filming was talking place, but before this I had three auditions in front of the shows producers.
