Quidd - My Block (Scāpegōt Records)

Returning to the scene with an electrifying presence, Black Riyooda "The Energizer" is a Bay Area native known for his eclectic music taste and unique blends to stand out as an unconventional DJ breaking barriers in the music world. His unique style is influenced by his father, a former DJ, and his mother, a hobbyist singer. Growing up, he immersed himself in the sounds of the Bay Area and EDM, while also being heavily influenced by 80's-90's East Coast and West Coast Hip-Hop and R&B. Before the pandemic, he energized crowds at car shows like Shukai, SPOCOM, and RaceWorz, and captivated audiences at venues such as Dave & Buster's, The Amplifier, and The Libertine, earning opportunities to DJ internationally. In 2021, he moved to Florida, where he spent two years mastering Latin House and Reggaeton and returned to the Bay Area to reclaim his sound. With Inspirations by DJ Shadow, San Holo, Pale Jay, and DJ Marky, Black Riyooda continues to push the boundaries of his craft, bringing a fresh and dynamic energy to every set.
