This music was inspired by c418's classic Lofi music style. Originally part of a project to create a open-source fork of Minetest, the project failed when the community discouraged its initial attempt. 

The music, however, carries a certain quality that is no doubt fun and makes for an easy-listening Nostalgia.

Once having suggested a ghostly Nether mob known as the Wight, I had gained some fairly sizable attention on the Minecraft Forums.

A few years later, The Angry Pixel team from Curse-Forge liked my suggestion so much that they decided to adopt the mob and proceeded to drop it in their project The Betweenlands.

Because they liked the Nether music I had made on that same suggestion thread, the owner contacted me and asked if I'd be willing to do music for the Betweenlands Mod as well. These Ambient tracks were the result of an attempt to capture the eerie and the arcane of the ghosts and dark magic in The Betweenlands.

I originally started this track back in August, way before I went on vacation; was having a depressive episode, so this is basically my auditory representation of that emotion - what could be beautiful and calm melodies is taken up by oppressive, vast noise and dissonant chords.

Anyways, the void's unfathomable vastness awaits, join me on my journey into the lands deep into the great nothing.

This was a test I did while I was between DAW softwares. Believe it or not it was made using only LMMS and Audacity. It was inspired by c418's 'Key'. The melodies within seem to pair nicely with the original Minecraft tracks, but I was just doodling and the Motifs I used were somewhat accidental. Probably residual from having listening to those tracks forever.
