Description: A very quick demo of AmpKit's recent addition of stereo effects for their Phaser and Flanger pedals (among others). One riff, two versions. The first play-through is using the 'Phaser 72' pedal and the second run-through is using AmpKit's 'The Lone Flanger' pedal.

I used the Pro Tone Misha Mansoor OD for both the guitars. For the bass I used the same channel that was used for the rhythm guitar (JSX crunch, Vader 2x12), but with the Misha OD off. The bridge and neck pickups were combined and the tone knob was mostly down on my Schecter Banshee-8 A for that as well. So, I basically used my 8-string as a bass for this track, even eq'd it like one and you can hear the tubey grit. You could actually use that as your comparison between the OD'd and normal crunch track if you wish.

The solo was the neck pickup on the Banshee also, but with slight variations of the volume and tone knob. The Misha was used as a clean boost here as well.

Pro Tone Pedals - Winter Riff Wreckage Contest - The Staircase (CanniballistiX)

I played my EVH Wolfgang Special (in standard tuning), using both pickups, through the Pro Tone Pedals Monster Fuzz (knobs as follows: 1:00, 2:00, 2:00) into AmpliTube Orange OR-50 in a clean preset (which you can hear without the pedal at the end of the riff).

I think it sounds pretty awesome.

First Days Of Spring

The TSE Audio X50 V2 is an emulation of the Peavey 5150 or 6505 with a built in Gate module, their own TSE 808 stomp box, a cabinet emulator with loads of great impulse responses and finally a tuner, rack delay module and EQ which includes low and high shelf controls! I didn't add any post EQ to any guitars in this recording, I just added a limiter. Fantastic value for money if you want great metal guitars.

My entry for the Pro Tone Winter Riff Contest! 

I used my Bulb Overdrive Deluxe as a clean boost in front of the Friedman HBE Model on my AxefxII! I used the attack switch feature at the 2:10 and 3:28 marks.

The guitar was an Ibanez RG1077xl with a BKP Aftermath and Dimarzio Liquifire Set tuned to Drop Ab. Bass was my Schecter Stiletto 5 through Axefx as well, and the Drums were Toontrack!
