In 1991 RePhleX records introduced the concept of 'Braindance' to label the music they release.
Often people equate Braindance and IDM. That is completely wrong. Braindance is More than IDM.
IDM is a style of electronic music, and Braindance isn't one.
Braindance is NOT a limp and lifeless set of sounds like 97% of everything that industry produces. It is the Music! A sound that contains feelings, emotions and inspiration!

Here is the text posted on the Rephlex website in the 90's:
"braindance is the genre that encompasses the best elements of all genres, e.g traditional, classical, electronic music, popular, modern, industrial, ambient, hip hop, electro, house, techno, breakbeat, hardcore, ragga, garage, drum and bass, etc.

Big Pale started rapping on January 1st of the year 2013. Growing up, the first CD he ever purchased was The Eminem Show. His music is heavily influenced by Eminem, Mac Miller, Biggy, and most recently Big L. He has also been influenced by the rap/hip hop culture through his cousin Ross Spargur. Ross's passion for promoting the rap industries new artists has given Tunnel Vision the motivation to pursue a rapping career. However, Tunnel Vision wants his words to be heard and has no interest in the attention the music career brings. His goal is to make profit in the music industry to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Also, he wants to start two non-profit organizations. One for homeless people and one for recovering addicts/alcoholics. These goals stem from his new found spirituality. He is a reborn again christian and currently participates in various charitable events. His newer songs which mainly start in November 13 show his new found spirit. Stay tuned in this rap journey for what will be a clash between two ways of living!
