Mist veils the forest, and the trees stand silent, their branches etched in fading light. Alcachofa's Deep Breakfast mix is a slow-burning journey through the autumnal haze. Let the sounds guide you deeper.

A music enthusiast, tireless event organiser and avid digger, Alcachofa is a versatile artist with multiple influences and boundless curiosity. Now based in Paris after multiple experiences abroad, he has been a member of the deep techno label Lowless for several years. Alcachofa likes to bring the listener into an intropsective journey where feelings and emotions play a predominant role.

About the mix he said:
"The recording starts slowly, with melodic tunes moving surely into more deep and introspective sounds. As the set moves forward, you can feel how it evolves toward a nostalgic mood, ending with positive notes and a vibe full of hope."

It wasn't a wave, but a gentle loosening of the knot that holds time together. The frequency arrives like dust motes dancing in a shaft of afternoon light—suspended, weightless, and infinite. To listen is to let your edges soften until you can no longer discern where your skin ends and the hum begins.
The air becomes porous, woven from silk and static. There is no need to move, think, or feel heavy anymore. You are simply a vibration held together by the delicate tension of a whisper.

Bio/
Brickman creates music that blends dub techno, deep house, and ambient styles, utilising multilayered sound textures, classic dub echoes, electronic rhythms, and deep sub-bass to develop a unique sound. His first release was in 2010, when he collaborated with Russian and European labels on vinyl, CD, and digital formats. His tracks have been featured in DJ sets by notable artists like John Digweed and Marco Carola.
From 2010 to 2019, Brickman performed at various clubs in St. Petersburg and participated in festivals and radio shows. He also took part in the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp and created soundscapes for art exhibitions. Since 2022, he has shifted to a studio format, combining analogue and digital synthesisers and a variety of audio techniques to shape his music.

My next guest I want to present is an artist called Hardpunx from Tarnobrzeg, Poland. @pawe-rave

Paweł has been immersed in electronic music and rave culture since childhood. Performing under the alias Hardpunx, he crafts hypnotic hybrid sets blending driving techno with deep, dub-infused grooves and meticulously shaped rhythms.
His sound moves between two poles: the raw pulse of minimal Detroit techno and the spacious calm of dub techno. The result is a carefully constructed journey — subtle, powerful, and deeply atmospheric.
Hardpunx organizes events in his hometown but also performs widely outside Tarnobrzeg. He has released two podcasts for Plazma Records, curates his own mix series Mechanical Techno.logy, and recently launched a new format, Deep From My Head.He is constantly developing musically, looking for new, unusual sounds.

The twenty second.

Sardinian native TVS, a producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist, shares with us a darkly contoured selection of tracks to energise and hypnotise, showcasing her appreciation and understanding of the ambient, deep and experimental.

The selection picks us up with an ambient overture, layers upon layers of sound added to a sonic canvas as images of murky basements, flashing lights and shadows are conjured to our minds eye. The kick an ever changing pendulum, the bass warping and twisting into the surreal, each track putting us under a new spell just as the previous releases us.

As the tempo and intensity rises, final slashes of experimental sound suddenly decorate the tapestry, bringing a release from the depths. We've returned from below, yet the surface seems different...

Artist: Waage [ Thule Records / X/OZ / Ohm Series / Lempuyang ]

 As the year comes to a close and we move deeper into the depths of winter, we are honoured to be able to release this mix from an artist who’s work seems to be the perfect soundtrack for these cold dark stormy days. In at number 20 in the frontier series we welcome the incredibly talented Icelandic producer - Waage.  

 In a scene that can sometimes be saturated in similar sounds, Waage is an artist that has truly carved out his own sound. Always deep and uncompromising , always unique. Waage tracks are easily identifiable but rarely imitated well. 

  For his Frontier mix Waage has presented an hour of almost fully unreleased music. Which is an absolute privilege for us to be able to share. The mix is packed with beautiful sequences and atmospherics , its very Waage, and its very US!  

This will be one to play again and again.

   We want to thank Kristjan for this epic contribution to the series and we cant wait to get our hands on more of his music.

A dear friend with whom we have shared many special moments, on and off the dancefloor.

"This year, I was captivated by two sets in particular, one in Amsterdam and one in Berlin, both played between 4 and 8 in the morning, when it's still dark until the first light of day. Both sets were very minimal and deep, with a slow build-up and minimal percussion. All year, I've been trying to collect tracks that remind me of that incredible experience. Slow BPMs and thumping bass transformed the dance floor into a warm, sexy whirlpool, the sound massaging your brain. With this mix, I hope to take you back to that dancefloor with me."

DJ Church runs the Techno Space Bar project, a gathering for romantic, minimal, and deep sounds, spanning a variety of genres, from ambient to IDM, deep house, and ambient techno.
