Und so hält es auch Webradio sceen.fm, dass schon mehrfach mit seiner elektronischen Musikauswahl auf sich aufmerksam gemacht hat. Nachdem vor über einem Jahr die erste Compilation des deutschen Webradios erschien, legt das Musikkollektiv nun nach und schafft es wieder mal die musikalische Bandbreite des Senders in eine Compilation zu packen. Aktive und erfolgreiche Labels wie Freude am Tanzen, Keinemusik, Apparel Music oder Acker Records treffen auf neuen Sound von frischen Imprints wie Ritter Butzke Studio oder Degree Records. So entsteht mit Künstlern wie Marek Hemmann, Mouse T., Rampa oder Veitengruber ein enormes Spektrum an elektronischer Musik.

Ob Peaktime-Knaller oder entspannter Open Air Sound, die sceen.fm able Compilation deckt jeglichen Geschmack ab, bleibt dabei aber wie von jeher gewohnt Abseits von Mainstream und reflektiert den Sound der Untergrundszene.

After releasing the first Compilation about 1 year ago, the German webradio station returns with releasing another one, showing once more the diversity of the station itself. Active and successful Labels like Freude am Tanzen, Keinemusik, Apparel Music or Acker Records are combined with new imprints like Ritter Butzke Studio or Degree Records. With artists like Marek Hemmann, Mousse T., Rampa or Veitengruber an enormous spectrum of electronic music is presented.

Hailing from Cologne, Hans Schaaf first release as Honesty was in 1995 via Space Teddy Recordings.

Since then Schaaf moved to Berlin, performing as part of an improv-jazz band named Gelee Royale, as well as focusing on producing club music under various monikers. Schaff’s best-known pseudonyms, such as Honesty, Honeydrop and a duo named Slope alongside Cabinet founder Daniel Paul, have collectively released on the likes of Room With A View, Cabinet and Sonar Kollektiv.

Burnski is by no means the fresh faced new comer he looks. Despite still being relatively young, he has actually been toiling away, building up an enviable discography and laying down fierce DJ sets for a whole decade and a half. Right from the off he began making a big impact with early releases and has continued to quietly but competently build up momentum ever since. The upshot of this is that he is now at the point where he is a mainstay on the underground scene around Europe and beyond.

As a DJ, Burnski aims to mix the old with the new, is still a passionate vinyl hoarder and spends plenty of time digging deep for sounds and styles a mile away from the ordinary: if he didn’t, he wouldn’t be able to boast regular gigs at places like DC10 in Ibiza, Fabric in London, Rex Club in Paris and Watergate in Berlin, all of which find him weaving together tracks that make you want to dance as well as making you feel something deep down inside.

In the wake of early, standout career hits, Burnski is now crafting darker, more stripped back and rawer output. Today, we premiere Burnski's hypnotic interpretation of DJ Honesty's 'Schillerkiez', featuring a low-slung groove and added vocal to the already infectious synth hook.

‘Schillerkiez’ EP is available on Vessel Records on 5th October 2015.

This bird with the exclusive naming is a slow-mo funk monster in fine Solomun style and right here for the start of the summer season 2012. The first 500 copies are coming with a full size etching of his Watergate compilation artwork on the b-side!

Every Little Piece feat. Caitlin Devlin is the first single lifted from Thomas Schumacher's forthcoming long player Stand Up. The two artists already worked together in the past ("Elektrochemie" with Stephan Bodzin) releasing classic singles like Pleasure Seeker or Mucky Star on Berlin's Get Physical Music. They still share their passion for melancholic electronic dance music. 

Thomas was more than happy to be able to get some of his most respected fellow producers & artists to do the remixes: Simian Mobile Disco; Hot Since 82 and Joris Delacroix. The man himself added the  club mix to the remix package. 
The single will be released on Thomas' own imprint Electric Ballroom on March 8th 2013.
