Why do we dance? Is it because all your friends are there, the song is in the charts or the club is doing well? Calling an “info line” from an event flyer for details in the 90’s was common, so was sifting through recent releases at the local record store. That’s how it all began for Tessai while performing for radio stations and residencies alike. By 2005, he received an invite to play at Otakon in Baltimore, MD for one of the largest anime conventions in North America.
 
After ten years Tessai rediscovered his techno roots which inspired the performance in Santa Fe, NM, for a music festival with over 300 artists and 60K attendees. Later, The Entropy Series was a techno-house driven podcast that quickly became a fixture in 2012, while drawing support from Hawaii to Hiroshima over the next two years. During this time, Tessai co-founded JupiterOwl Recordings with label partner Strix and shifting focus towards production.
 
He has established a unique brand over the years, but always maintained an impeccable level of quality and professionalism in the non-commercial dance music industry. From a residency at Club ONE to being featured on EdgeClub, and Winter Music Conference in 2015, Mike Tessai is turning heads at every opportunity. His sound is dark and sophisticated, having caught the attention of Sam Paganini, Joseph Capriati, & Paco Osuna through his signing to Funk’n Deep Records.

DJ Soappy has steadily developed an almost unsurpassed reputation for tearing up dance floors throughout the east coast. He has quickly built a name for himself with his innovative mixing style and superior track selection. Over the years he has built a reputation for bringing some of the most cutting edge breaks as well as bridging the gap between genres (Dubstep, House, Psy-Trance, Garage, & Drum n' Bass). His natural sense to read the crowd keeps the dance floor moving, and people wanting more. DJ Soappy is a staple in the New England Rave scene known not only for his DJ skills, but also as the Co-founder of "Tight Crew" Productions. Tight Crew is the northeast's largest rave event productions company. Drawing thousands of ravers to each event.

In the summer of 2008 a collaborative project was launched that would combine the choice skill sets of two dynamic New England area breaks djs, namely FiG and Soappy, to be known thereafter as Big n' Dope! This combination of experience and enthusiasm is firmly founded in the duo's strong technical proficiency, impeccable selection of quality tracks and their innate ability to deliver high energy and performance to seething dance floors. Soappy and FiG have a combined sphere of influence that reaches from Maine down to Maryland having made appearances at all points there and in between. They have respectively and collaboratively been called upon to open for such leading industry names as: Skrillex, Adam Freeland, the Freestylers and Uberzone versus Bassbin Twins.

In May of 2009 Big n' Dope released their much anticipated self-titled debut demo mix. The mix immediately garnered much praise from all corners of the north east scene and has since become a favorite amongst party-goers and industry professionals alike. Now firmly established as a force within the north east scene this forward thinking duo is cultivating an expanding sound and evolving far beyond the borders of their breaks base to include Dubstep, Drum and Bass, House and various elements of "Psy". Look for many upcoming Big n' Dope appearances in the near future showcasing this sonic evolution as well as the follow up demo mix "Beyond the Breakers" now available at a rave near you!

Then over the years, feeding it a steady diet of UK Hip-Hop, Drum n Bass, Nu-school Jungle, and Break-core, it grew into a Glitched out Bass driven Ragga sounding Beast

Dr. Colossus has played with such artists as Luke Vibert, The Black Dog, Krome & Time, Altern 8, DJ Scotch Egg, Serial Killaz, Chase & Status, Spor, Shitmat, Twinhooker, Paulie Walnuts, Tester, Debaser & Top Cat among others.

Theory of Noise is an up-and-coming rock n’ roll band based out of Merchantville, NJ. In a scene chock full of death metal bands and experimental “emo” bands, Theory of Noise is bringing back the old school of rock music. With the technical ability and catchy melodies similar to that of the Foo Fighters combined with the heaviness and intensity of Breaking Benjamin, Theory of Noise has developed an original sound never before heard on human ears.

Lead singer and rhythm guitarist Chris Paladino is one of the founding members of the band and is the primary lyricist in the band. His memorable vocal melodies have become a favorite at local shows. His lyrics come from true emotion and, through his writing, the band’s music becomes believable and the audience gets wrapped up in the stories.

Lead guitarist Chris Stehm is the other founding member of Theory of Noise and could potentially be the next rock guitar star. His old school approach to the instrument and his perfectionist attitude has aided the band in getting to where they are today. Stehm’s solos are a blinding combination of speed, skill, and raw ability. After hearing Stehm tear it up on his six and seven stringers, you would think he had been playing for twenty years.

Bassist Darian Kennedy lays down the low end and is stuck with the difficult task of keeping up with Stehm’s guitar lines without getting any of the publicity or limelight. Kennedy’s bass lines lay down the foundation for Stehm to do what he does, and for the band to succeed in general. Perhaps one of the best bassists in the Philadelphia area, Kennedy is a key member of the band, and without him Theory of Noise would not be experiencing the progress they are currently enjoying.

Last, but certainly not least, is drummer Alex Berwick. The newest addition to the band has all the chops to keep up and all the experience to make him a perfect match. This 18yr old drummer has been in and out of studio's lending his talents to many recording artists, and his love for the drums is only eclipsed by his love of Snapple. Styling his playing towards Travis Barker and Longineu W. Parsons III its the perfect mix of styles to finally fill out the rhythm section of the band.

veranstaltete seit 2005 Party-Reihen, auf denen die verschiedensten Ragga-Styles gefeiert wurden. 

Zuletzt fand "Blackboard-Jungle" im Alten Wettbüro statt. Zu hören gab es Ragga in seiner wilden Vielfalt, dabei standen besonders Raggajungle, Dubwize und Drum´n´Bass auf dem Programm.
