Beste Hira is an adventurous, strong willed and motivated person now based in Amsterdam with Istanbul as hometown. These aspects have brought her to the position she stands as an artist today. Music has been a lifelong priority, thus, she has oriented and based her entire High School and University education on Music, successfully graduating in 2016. Her career as a dj/producer started soon after and is why she decided to move to Amsterdam. Her EP works has also enabled her to make a name as a producer, merging talents with successful labels such as Schimmer Records. She has also had the opportunity to play with important names such as Nihad Tule in Schimmer Records x SEV Berlin’s showcase in Berlin. Following this, Beste has also taken Vienna by storm, making her European presence grow rapidly, Bcco x selected Berlin I was also play for them.

Holding down residencies at Wire Club and the monthly queer night Love Muscle, Kessie has carved out a groove within the North's vibrant dance music community - one that shows no sign of slowing down. This Summer alone has taken her even further afar with festival & club bookings from across Europe, and Kessie can be heard in the our halls for the first time in our upcoming celebration of 10 years of Monnom Black. 

Kessie has recorded an exclusive mix for our DETECT series, where she indulges in the tougher, grittier corners of her music collection, drawing from techno, EBM, post punk and grunge influences.

Alex Levin has been a nightlife scene mainstay with a reputation built by his always dynamic, hypnotic, and driving sets, being both a resident of the notorious queer PAG party, and a regular behind the decks of the most prominent clubs in Tel Aviv, before relocating to Berlin in 2019. Since then, he has reestablished himself across the flourishing local scene by maintaining the underground agenda of his sound and set dynamics. Thanks to various appearances including Berghain's Klubnacht, and bi-annual party SNAX among others, Levin got the stages to showcase his musical repertoire and careful selection.

On this one we go a little deeper and darker to ramp things up because episode three is going to get a little nuts. But these more minimal tracks come through so warm and punchy. I’m very happy with the overall sound of these digital transfers.

Volume 04 of the Northern Groove Association Podcast comes from Glaswegian talent Eubo.

Over the past few years, Eubo has become a well regarded and sought after selector on Glasgow techno scene, focussing predominantly on vinyl only sets. 

He has also become well known for the quality of his productions releasing music on labels including Patterns, Feedback, Khazad Records and his own imprint, Critical Collective.

Cracow DJ, resident of the Noce club and promoter. On stage for over a year, during his debut he was appreciated by Blazej Malinowski with an invitation to play at the Inner Tension party at Jasna 1. He regularly performs in Cracow clubs. Together with his partner, he runs the GAMUT project oscillating in a wide spectrum of art, with electronic music at the forefront. On the one hand, Adam revolves around the addictive, hypnotic and groovy techno, and on the other - he plays with funky sounds inspired by the 90's and 00's. He keeps refining his style in pursuit of the perfect balance, and the sets are energetic and dynamic, full of surprises, filled with groovy hi-hats, vocals, tribal loops and even psychedelic samples.

As an Artist, whom grew from the beginnings of DJ'ing with vinyl in the 90's, he loves to blend so many genres together, as long as it consists elements of driving frequencies, telling his sincere musical story.

The sounds that are transmitted while behind the decks, either as Sceptical C or RaHis, consist of frequency and indigenous based sounds which he often blends with Techno, Melodic Techno, Afro house, House, Tech House, but most definitely tracks containing healing and regenerating frequencies and so much more. The musical story consist of a drive that will make the dancefloor move because of the frequencies being broadcasted from the hearth, through the available channels blended together live, on the fly, unpredicted and no preselected tracks.

Whenever or where ever you encounter RaHis, all of his musical frequential magic, will contain percussive vibes that are received in such a way by the audience, that it will make them get in such a state of happiness that will make them keep their bodies moving with maximum enjoyment, forgetting their day to day life, while healing themselves on the dancefloor. Especially when the audience opens up to receive the healing frequencies heard and felt, transferred via the sound system.

The Antillean Artist Corne Van Der Heijden, hailing from Curacao N.A., was nurtured in an environment rich in various musical styles that continue to flow through his veins, defining his sound today. His journey into DJing commenced at the age of 12 when he became captivated by the art of playing vinyl. At 18, he transitioned to Eindhoven, in The Netherlands, for his studies, believing this would signify the end of his musical pursuits. Contrary to this belief, it marked the beginning of a remarkable new chapter, leading him to embrace his passion for electronic music. 

His musical journey has garnered significant attention, and his extensive collection of released and unreleased original tracks has established him as a highly sought-after DJ for various events, whether utilising digital vinyl or performing live.
