We are a Progressivmetalband from Cologne an we'r writing our own music! Infinite Abyss is founded in August 2013.
We have many influences such as Bad Religion, Nirvana, Tool. In 2015 our first demo tape "Demonstration" came out and in the same year we made the second position in a bandbattle called "Toys to Masters" in the Rhein-Erft area.

Though they have an inherently eighties sound, it isn’t predisposed to nostalgia like so much music is that borrows from past decades. Sunburns doesn’t really borrow any of the niche qualities associated with the past, it’s just in them. The band’s sound is extremely nostalgic, and although lo-fi/indie music has completely taken over that term, this progressive/indie rock band has managed to keep their tunes quite reminiscent of early indie groups from the early millennium.
