Lysergic acid diethylamide, abbreviated LSD or LSD-25, also known as lysergide and colloquially as acid, is a semisynthetic psychedelic drug of the ergoline family, well known for its psychological effects which can include altered thinking processes, closed and open eye visuals, synaesthesia, an altered sense of time and spiritual experiences, as well as for its key role in 1960s counterculture. It is used mainly as an entheogen, recreational drug, and as an agent in psychedelic therapy. LSD is non-addictive, is not known to cause brain damage, and has extremely low toxicity relative to dose, although in rare cases adverse psychiatric reactions such as anxiety or delusions are possible.

This set is a "more or less" accurate copy of the set I played on the Sky stage on the Eclipse 2012 fest. For me that was the most special place to hang out, the location on the river bed with that magical house facade that was built there, Berlin street names etc... was just fantastic. That special evening was über fantastic as I played there music I am ( unfortunately ) not able to play anymore at most of the parties I DJ at, due to popular demand of Psy Prog trance to be played, and at the Eclipse, this set was the best I played during the year 2012, it was fantastic, and for those 90 minutes I felt that OMG feeling once again - to play out music I REALLY love.

So here's the set for you, Enjoy and have a merry Christmas!!!

Cosma is Avihen Livne, born 1979, from Kiryat Bialik near Haifa, Israel. Avihen started his musical way in the dark clubs of Haifa and the area, listening to new wave and more electronic stuff: Depech Mode, Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, Front 242 etc... "Then trance arrived" (95), he said, and put some consciousness between everybody's feet and brain. That affected him as well, and after years of parties he started to make music in 1998, as he has been into computers since he was very young, making music with the computer was natural to him.

He worked first with Benny Risher as Diablo. They released one Album in 1999 - 'Insufficient Memory'. In 2000 Avihen started to work under the name Cosma (suggested by DJ Jorg of SST). Avihen said a lot has changed since in the way he grasped music and in the making of it. Part of it was thanks to working together with other artists like Ido Ophir (Domestic) and Erez Aizen (Infected Mushroom) who helped him alot to develop and grow up. "It's very helpful to learn the way another mind operates and to see a different Wayof working ". He released quite a few tracks on compilations and in September 2001 Avihen released his debut solo album 'Simplicity'. This album was considered a milestone release in every aspect as Avihen found a new formula of Israeli trance that swept the world off its feet. He took the direction of trance into a broader perspective; "Simplicity" was characterized by a big clear quality sound cruising through a deeper vibe, taking in funky beat, progressive, electronics and ambience while sounding fresh all the way.

"If you were in the right mood, "Simplicity" could be a religious experience" (DJ magazine).

After the release of this album, Cosma became an established name and he performed live all around the globe. Avihen moved on to signing his new album, "Nonstop", to the Israeli label HOMmega. In this album he swept many influences which made 'Nonstop' a juicy and innovative journey into trance. Dark and pounding, not for lightweights, Cosma's music rocks your core without beating your brains out, all while keeping his famous trademark - his unique cosmic atmosphere.

Avihen was about to release his 2nd album, "Nonstop", on March 2003. Following the album's release, he was scheduled for a massive world tour and in order to prepare himself for this exciting stage of his musical career,he decided to take some time off in Goa, India. On February 10th, while driving back from Palulim beach to his hotel, he was involved in a motorcycle accident. He was hospitalized, but despite all medical efforts, he passed away.

He was a special person, a good friend and a talented musician who was loved by all. A person who had so much in him that he could give so much to others with his music that was played, heard and hailed worldwide.

His music is his legacy. Remember him forever!

A true force in the Psytrance world and beyond it, Yoni Oshrat, better known as Ace Ventura, isn't just a DJ and producer - he's an experience. For over two decades, his infectious energy has ignited dance floors worldwide. From intimate clubs to headlining major festivals, Ace Ventura has captivated audiences with his signature style. His music is characterised by a fusion of hard, pumping dancefloor oriented themes and deeper, groovier influences, always immersed in psychedelia. As a DJ his diverse musical tastes and vast musical knowledge enables him to create unique sonic experiences. In times when lineups consist mostly of short producer sets, Yoni pushes the envelope to play long sets that tell a real story, going back to the origins of DJ culture.

His passion for psytrance extends far beyond music. Alongside Liquid Soul, he co-founded Psy-Nation, a global movement encompassing a monthly radio show/podcast and a travelling party line. This dedication to the genre fosters community and discovery for psytrance enthusiasts everywhere.

While psytrance is his domain, Ace Ventura's musical curiosity extends to downtempo and dub universes.  This deep appreciation for diverse electronic styles adds another layer to his artistry, evident in his acclaimed "Ace Ventura in Dub" sets.

Ace Ventura isn't confined to the booth. Beyond solo ventures, he collaborates on successful projects like Alpha Portal (with Astrix), Alien Art (with Captain Hook), Liquid Ace (with Liquid Soul), and Acid Punks (with Outsiders), each project offering a different sound adventure.
