Our set as played at 'Submarine Invites Fuse'. Submarine is a sunday afternoon (pool)party concept at one of the most kick ass places in lovely Antwerp. We closed the second boat by sunset from 20h till 22h.

'Schemering' is best known as one half of the dj duo 'Dauw & Schemering'. They quickly paved their way into the Belgian music scene and beyond. Their names — translate to ‘Dew’ and ‘Twilight’ — complement as much as the duo's exquisite taste for refined house music. Consider it a yin-yang situation in which their determination and urge for perfection seamlessly blend together into one experience.

Known for gigs at ADE, Afrika Burn, The Gardens of Babylon & Tomorrowland and heating up dance floors in renowned Belgian venues like Café d'Anvers, Club Vaag and Decadance to only name a few. 2016 and 2017 gave them a quick jump to some international gigs in Stockholm, Berlin, Amsterdam and Tulum. But maybe they're even better known for their elaborate list of delicately crafted podcasts for a wide range of respected music channels.

Not sticking to one particular style their sound can best be described as house music in all its deepest forms and tempo ranges. Every time again they up their game by embracing the dance floor and its listeners with forward thinking music. Warm melodies often go together with groovy, heavy bass lines creating a particular deep sound that has energy enough to get the party started, to going way passed sunrise, and every moment in between. Add some strong emotional flavor to their defined sense for depth & rhythm and they will spark you up on a journey that makes your heart, mind and feet wander over and over again.

After a long search for his favorite music style, Martin finally discovered electronic music. During the years his interest for minimal, deep house, tech house and tribal increased. In his early twenties he decided to be an active part of this little music universe. The first turntables and mixer were bought with a friend. With the years the equipment enlarged and the Dj technique increased.
Since 2007 is Martin a member of the booking and event agency Tanz +Klangkombinat. From this moment on he had performances first on small parties later on bigger events with the project Marfel&Felmar like on Tunnelbeat. Legendary were the after parties for several events, where also the idea for Marfel&Felmar was founded. With the movement to Antwerp (Belgium) the project Marfel&Felmar is iced, with several exceptions like "theatré electronique III" in Bauerbach and a never ending vriendship between the artists. =) From now on Martin König is trying to get a food in the door in Belgium. First connections are made we'll see what the future brings.

Martin König aka Marfel entdeckte nach langer Suche nach seinem präferierten Stil die elektronische Musik. Mit den Jahren stieg sein Interesse vor allem in minimal, deep house, tech house und trible. In den frühen Zwanzigern entschloss er sich dazu Teil dieses kleinen Musikuniversums zu werden. Die ersten Plattenspieler und der erste Mixer wurde noch zusammen mit einem Freund gekauft. Im Laufe der Jahre verbesserte sich allerdings das Equipment und die Technik.
Seit 2007 ist er aktives Mitglied des Tanz+Klangkombinats. Seit diesem Moment konnte er erste Erfahrungen auf kleineren selbst organisierten Parties sammeln. Später konnte er diese Erfahrungen, mit dem Projekt Marfel&Felmar bei grossen Events, wie z.B. Tunnelbeat wiedergeben. Legendarisch waren dabei die Afterparties für verschiedene andere Veranstaltung, wobei auch die Idee für Marfel&Felmar entstand.
Mit dem Umzug nach Antwerpen (Belgien) wurde es schwierig dieses Projekt professionell weiter zu führen, somit wurde es "auf Eis gelegt". Aber aufgrund der niemals endeten Freundschaft beider Künstler, wird es auch in Zukunft Ausnahmen geben. Das beste Beispiel dafür ist "theatré electronique III" in Bauerbach. =)
Von nun an versucht Martin König aka Marfel Fuss in Belgien zu fassen. Erste Kontakte sind geknüpft, mal schauen was die Zukunft bringt.
