Immersed in jazz and folk since toddler times and fuelled by his passion for music, Soren Hodne has been DJ-ing under the alias 'Thomas Workshop' while in cohesion touring as a founding member, vocalist, writer and producer of Lazy Syrup Orchestra.

Additionally he produces house music centric events with his Soul Hop Productions team. Hosting international artists in Vancouver and co-creating dance opportunities with a focus on long form extended DJ sets.

With Lazy Syrup Orchestra, Soren has toured Internationally, performing on an array of festival stages as the group continues to evolve and develop new music.

He's happiest when surrounded by aquatic house music, basketball, breakbeats, disc golf, old school hip hop and plant based hygiene products.

Co-Founder of Step Out: a series of groove-oriented affairs and functions. Vibe Director for Gruuv Operators, a collective of musicians and vocalists bringing live instrumentation to house & garage dance floors. Active in Vancouver since 2012, Schemmatic has shared stages with Jimpster, Lady Monix, Nick Wisdom and others at storied venues including Vantek, Celebrities, The Pearl, Industrial 236, Platform 9, and other local hotspots.
