Groove Technicians  DJ's Scott Lees and Steve Richardson have spent some years creating house music all Styles! . In addition to composing and re mixing we have always enjoyed recording and remixing other musicians work. We have been lucky to have worked with  Todd Terry, Victor Simonelli, Lisa Sanchez, Sam Payne,Jerry C king,Curtis McClain,Kim Sim's with Steve Silk Hurley,Byron Stingily,Ronnie Canada,Cornelius Bishop,BB Smooth, Becka ward and we hope to continue to work with these and other artists.

We have had success releasing songs and remixes through labels like Freeze Records / Westside Records / Bassline Records / Unkwn Rec's / Open Bar / Daddy Funk 45/ Phat Beat / Audio Bite / Soulful Salt Shaker Music and Open House Recordings.
 
To feed our passion, continue our work and support other creative musicians the next step for us was to start Digital distribute our own label  ‘Groove Technicians Records ‘ The label will focus on presenting all styles of quality house music by chosen artists and ourselves.

Shereen Cheong is a New York-based Malaysian pianist, composer, arranger and producer who developed a sense of music from a tender age of three. Pursuant to her classical training, she studied jazz piano with Malaysia’s jazz veteran, Michael Veerapen. At the age of 16, she was on the Sparks of Broadway Tour as a pianist with Farah Sulaiman & Friends in Malaysia.
 
She is a graduate from Berklee College of Music, holding a dual degree in Contemporary Writing & Production (CWP) and Music Business & Management (MBus).

Shereen has arranged, orchestrated and conducted for world-renowned artists like Wang LeeHom, Kaki King, Chelsey Green and Grammy-winning artist Pablo Ziegler. She has also worked with various artists like Jamilah Abu Bakar, Amni Musfirah, Carmi Harris, Chan Luxe and Keithian to name a few as a composer, arranger and producer on their singles and albums.

As a keyboardist/pianist, she has toured extensively with RocNation's artist, Victory Boyd, who was discovered by Jay-Z himself, alongside distinguished icons in the music scene such as Empire’s drama series actor/singer Jussie Smollett on his “Sum of my Music” tour, Grammy-winning jazz artist Gregory Porter at the City Park’s Foundation SummerStage NYC in association with Sony Blue Note Jazz Festival, platinum selling and Grammy-winning artist Lauren Daigle, and well-known jazz artist Kamasi Washington. She has also performed at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, ESSENCE Music Festival and LEAF Music Festival, and appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America Live Show and radio station Sirius XM Heart & Soul. Shereen most recently performed and recorded with award-winning electropop/rock artist Marina, on her latest release titled "Ancient Dreams Live from the Desert" and on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers. She is currently the music director, arranger and keyboardist for Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, Jackie's Boy.

As a solo artist, Shereen has released various singles and a Christmas EP titled "2512" to critical acclaim. The EP featured various up-and-coming artists and frequent collaborators like Amni Musfirah, Anthony Muthurajah, Jamilah Abu Bakar to name a few. Her 2nd EP titled "Amygdala" was released on January 7th 2022, which features her improvised compositions on the piano.

Big Circle Music Group is an independent label bring R&B back to forefront. ￼
