In 1989 DJ T. tapped into another side of his creative energy to set up Groove Magazine. 
Under his leadership, Groove became one of Germany’s premier dance music publications, and remains so today. 
With his experience gained under the Groove Magazine banner, 
DJ T. then went on to launch the club, Monza, in Frankfurt. 
He also invested his skills and knowledge into conceiving Get Physical – 
a label which remains one of the world’s best-known houseand techno platforms.

Who would have thought that my gig in New York, which was already special anyway, would be the last one for an uncertain time. 

It‘s difficult to find the right words for what is happening around us right now. This crisis brings us all to our limits and yet it also shows us that we actually live a pretty privileged life, which we often don’t appreciate that sufficiently. However, my thoughts are with all those who really have to struggle currently. Let’s try to use this situation to come back even greater and stronger. 
I hope that with my set I can give you the chance to dive away a little and think about better times, which will definitely come again.

[NEW CHAPTER 015] - Podcast M.D.H. by Arjuna Schiks

Childhood friends Shamil & Jason who grew up together in Maputo, Moçambique, South Eastern Africa, became the duo Perspectiv when they both moved to Vancouver, Canada; weaving their multicultural backgrounds into a story that is expressed best through their diverse taste in music. Navigating through frequencies that merge organic instruments with deep electronic elements, while infusing funky rhythms that span from Latin America to their mother continent of Africa, Perspectiv reveals a wild passion for transcending the boundaries of different genres and combining music that seamlessly takes listeners from downtempo to upbeat groove. Keep tune as they will be releasing new music within the next few months. 

Mixed during the duo’s first Quarantine livestream at YouPlusOne headquarters in Vancouver, this 173th edition encompasses some of their favorite new and old songs that are woven together to take listeners traveling through the world's diverse sounds from the comfort of their homes. The 107-min’ session took inspiration from the prospect that amidst all the uncertainty during this global pandemic, they sought refuge in the certainty of their passion for world music and sharing it with the global community, and throughout all of this we can rethink our systems and relations with the world and others. Hoping that music continues to present a worldwide language that all can tune into and be positively influenced by.
