Traumhouse consists of Sebastian and Silvana, who came to know each other in 2014 with the help of an internet platform for musicians. They became a couple one year later and decided to build up a musical project together. While Silvana features the voice of Traumhouse, she is also front singer in a rock band. Sebastians piano lessons in his adolescent years were quickly followed by electronic productions in a DAW. Traumhouse is mainly focusing on a melancholic deep house style, with some more progressive elements here and there. Trademark of Traumhouses sound are dreamy and mellow pad sounds, perfectly complemented by Silvanas warm and silky voice. Featuring even instrumental tracks now and then, Traumhouse inspires with powerful, catchy but nonetheless relaxing beats, which draw every listener into a soothing, hypnotic and often joyous mood. Much like everything else in his life, Rick’s journey to becoming a DJ is a love story, that starts out in the early 1990’s in his hometown of Miami Beach where he instantly fell for electronic music just as the house scene was beginning to explode.

In 1999, Rick Rosa relocated to NYC, where the nineteen-year-old learned the real definition of house music at Danny Tenaglia’s Be Yourself Party at the former Club Vinyl. His bold style of heavy percussions, tribal grooves, and marathon sets would go on to be the inspiration for Rick, in the same way, that DJ Larry Levan's boundaryless sets at the infamous Paradise Garage inspired Tenaglia himself.

With his passionate and uplifting personality, Rick is a successful real estate entrepreneur in NYC by day while remaining part of the house scene at night. Enjoying being a spectator for decades, he never imagined standing behind the DJ booth. That all changed in 2015 while he was trying to find a way to creatively express himself from a pure place. It was then he discovered a true blessing, a hidden talent of making music.

Today, Rick can be found performing at underground parties throughout Brooklyn and New York City not for the fame and glory, but as an outlet to share his unfiltered art with people who also genuinely love house music.

A true melodic storyteller, each Rick Rosa set takes you onto the dance floor for a deep, tribal, sexy sound journey.
