Based in Miami, they hold a residency at the amazing venue Do Not Sit On The Furniture and they consider themselves as mood and vibes creators trying to be good selectors. How right they are!
 
The duo gained our attention with their warm-up sets at Do Not Sit On The Furniture, creating the perfect vibe for big name headliners to take over. 

What they created for Schirmchendrink is pure bliss, not to be topped in terms of smoothness and positive emotions. Indeed a perfect track selection!

We are back with another tasty creation! Sam Goku performed some magic with the shakers and brought you a deliciously sonic and colorful Blue Lagoon. 
 
Sam Goku is a producer and DJ based in Munich. His music is referred to as balanced, wholesome, and colorful – perfectly fitting our menu! As a proud member of the Oleeva Records family, multiple remixes and an EP will be released on the young label and art collective in 2017. The original track Kami is out now on Sweet Melodic records. 
 
Color-up this greyish April day with this Blue Lagoon!

We’re back with a new addition to the Schirmchendrink menu: a spicy Red Snapper, brought to you by Brussel’s electronic music artist Felix Cage. 

Born in Paris, Felix grew up in Moscow. Classical music, Russian pop rock of the early 90’s as well as the echoes of the European house scene form his musical background. It is later in Belgium that Felix fully embracing the electronic music movement, leading to DJing and releases and remixes on imprints such as Katermukke, Electronical Reads and Mobilee. 

Felix’s music already created waves around the globe and just recently clouds of dust at Belgium’s Desert Festival called No Man’s World. 

Thanks, Felix, for taking time to mix this delicious cocktail!

Red Snapper | Felix Cage

Today’s cocktail got lots of Scandinavian spirit! Danish electronica newcomers BYLJA, consisting of Marchel Mørk & Emil Aagaard, is presenting the Scandinavian version of the Moscow Mule, the “Nordic Mule”.

BYLJA is one of those acts we stumbled upon while browsing through the endless stream in the cloud of sounds. The project has just debuted in Denmark and is not yet one year old. Marchel and Emil have released one track as of today, this gem is called “LAKI”. It was love at first sight. Or, better, at first hear. The track transports such an incredible atmosphere of melancholic, ambient but at the same time uplifting melodies. It was clear we wanted BYLJA on board and we are super happy they mixed their first mixtape for Schirmchendrink!

Marchel Emil share an enthusiastic passion for electro-acoustic ambient house music, which they give a personal and Nordic touch through BYLJA. With musical inspiration from artists such as Kiasmos, Bonobo and Moderate, BYLJA moves in a world of melancholy, well thought compositions and magnificent sound surfaces. At the same time, BYLJA's sound universe has deep roots in the house music, from which
they include rich bass and distinctive drums.

BYLJA's sound is characterized by a natural fusion of the digital and the analogue. Both computers and analog synthesizers, acoustic piano, guitar and bass form the frame of the duo's organic sound.

Their Nordic Mule contains fantastic unreleased productions of the duo. Can you guess where they are hidden? We are so much looking forward for those pearls to be released…and more coming from BYLJA soon!

Nordic Mule | BYLJA

Today we welcome a duo to the team, which knows each other almost the whole live, almost like real brothers.

Their name is based on the French word Rameau, which means olive tree branch and further is the symbol of peace. Besides their melodic electronica sounds RAMMÖ is known for its their excellent MM mix series and the minimalistic, white object artworks (which we absolutely love!). They thought of it as a nice analogy to the way they make and think of music.

It was almost 10 years ago when the two friends moved from Southern France to Amsterdam and further developed their musical profile within the vibrant Dutch music community. RAMMÖ are also co-founders and residents of the respected Dutch collective Klassified Music. 

2019 will be an exciting year for RAMMÖ: one original track coming out on the next Klassified VA/compilation on Janurary 25th. RAMMÖ, by the way, will be mixing it. Further they’re about to announce gigs around the globe including an Asia tour. And there is more to come by this fantastic duo…

Welcome to the first double set post ever on our SoundCloud wall as we have uploaded a little insight in our Asia tour. We started exploring our new presence in Asia in Bali. 

The island of the gods, a place that we visited for the first time and that interestingly enough also showed us things inside ourselves for the first time.

It was a beautiful gathering of family and friends with beautiful sets as a result. Enjoy this magical set by RAMMÖ while we dream a bit more of our time in Asia.

A lifelong passenger of a vibrant musical journey which has travelled instinctively through Classical, Jazz & Pop , Josephine soon found herself commanding the booths of sweaty basements and abandoned warehouse spaces, with her passion for House and Techno blossoming selection by selection.

The hippie-est of the crew, often seen floating from festival to festival, soundscape to soundscape, she's a stubborn optimistic and a music hunter.

Always looking forward to the next step, she is known to all as the creative owl of the bunch, heading up Deep Like’s musical and artistic direction. Born in her restless mind, Deep Like is a reflection of her colourful personality and her spotted talent when it comes to finding up and coming artists, leading the floor and its dancers in lock step.

Sometimes dramatic, sometimes dreamy Josephine’s sets transport her crowds to hypnotic journeys, with each attendee following her intricate storylines track for track with a sense of enchantment and intrigue. Eyes closed, hands up, with that magic sparkle that keeps you dancing, Josephine is a notable bright spark and one to make a note of.
