Clive is a Canadian singer-songwriter, born and raised in Blackburn, Lancashire, England. Clive's debut album 'WALL of STORMS" is available for download and streaming on iTunes, CD Baby http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/clivebarratt2, Amazon Music, Google Music, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer and more.

Clive wrote the lyrics and music for all 12 songs on WALL OF STORMS. He sings lead and back-up vocals and plays several instruments on the album, including: 12 & 6-string acoustic guitars; electric, slide & bass guitars; mandolin; synthesizer; harmonica;, tambourine, shakers and piano.﻿

WALL OF STORMS was recorded at Marpole Recording Studio in Langley, British Columbia by Rob Begg; at The Bathouse Recording Studios in Bath, Ontario, Canada by Nyles Spencer; and at the GDrumsB Studio in Kingston, Ontario by Gary Barratt. It was mastered at Gotham City Studios in Vancouver, Canada by Craig Waddell. The album was partially financed through contributions of fans from 13 different countries, via SellaBand, a 'crowd-funding' company based in Germany.

Musicians joining Clive on WALL OF STORMS include producer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist: Rob Begg﻿; drummers: Rogé﻿ Belanger, Gary Barratt and Ron E. Wells; bassist: Bill Patterson;﻿ and vocalists: Lisa Adrianne Witt﻿, Andrea Petersen and Michelle Szulc.

Producer Rob Begg﻿ is also a gifted musician, playing lead, bass and rhythm guitars, keyboards and he also sings background vocals on several songs.

Drums and background vocals on "Tonight You're Going Out" are by the late Rogé﻿ Belanger, who passed away on 27 September 2012, shortly after recording of this album began. Rogé﻿ spent 15 years touring with the Randy Bachman jazz band as Bachman's drummer and back-up vocalist. Rogé﻿'s distinctive harmonies can also be heard on the Clive's punchy, ska-vibed song: "Dance The Night Away".

Gary Barratt, (a.k.a. "Doctor Drums"), is Clive's brother, was also born in England and now based in Kingston, Ontario. He plays drums on five tracks. Gary has over 40 years of drumming experience in pretty well every genre possible, including orchestral. Gary has worked all over the British Isles, in mainland Europe, Ireland, Canada and the USA.

Lisa Adrianne, Adrea Petersen and Michelle Szulc are gifted & experienced singers from British Columbia, each with very distinctive vocal styles.

Bill Patterson is a solid bassist from Vancouver, BC, with live gig and studio experience. Several bass guitar tracks are played by Bill, many with a McCartney-esque style.

'My wish', Clive says; 'is that listeners will be intrigued by the varied themes, lyrical complexities and diverse musical influences which are laced throughout the album. Nothing would make me happier than to hear from fans that they are still singing these songs to themselves long after the stereo, MP3 player or radio has been turned off'. ﻿

Several of Clive's songs including; I MISS YOU; DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY; THESE ARE THE RULES; and I'M WITHOUT YOU have been voted as Song of the Week on TalentCast, a weekly, radio show out of The Netherlands, featuring original music of artists from around the world. I MISS YOU was also the Feature Song of the Week for December 17, 2014 edition of Canadian Musician Radio.

Clive got his first guitar at the age of 12, had basic music training in both the UK and Canada and wrote his first song at the age of 16. He has written  songs in a variety of styles, interweaving the influences of rock, contemporary pop, folk-rock, blues-rock, alt-country-rock, gospel and instrumental. Knowing that versatility is an invaluable trait, Clive performs solo, duet, trio or full band gigs on a casual basis, in between his "day job" as an airline pilot. ﻿He says the creative world of music provides an ideal opportunity to escape from the fatigue and stress of the aviation business.
