Tide In The Urban Jungle

I learned at a young age that life is fragile and unpredictable as my mind slowly began to deteriorate culminating in psychotic episodes in my early 30's. It just seemed destined to happen, but all is not lost. There is a slight hope that I will get another chance at this thing called life although the statistics are not encouraging.

I am a schizophrenic and I use music as an outlet for my strange inner landscape. I mostly just play around with the limited 8 tracks in Loopcloud and post the repeating loops here. It gives me moments of peace from my mental illness and keeps the mind busy. It's like putting a puzzle together and I enjoy making music this way even though the samples don't always fit perfect together. This page is something like my diary as I find it hard to put into words what I have experienced. My music (if you can call it that) is uplifting, sad, mellow, melancholic, dreamy, chill, atmospheric, serious, playful, ambient, abstract, mysterious and sometimes dark.
