Hi there! Welcome to my little sanctuary for groovy stuff :)

I live in Berlin and like to play cross-genre based on neo minimal. I understand neo minimal as a subgenre that has been and is influenced by techno, house and tech-house. Particularly important to me is the groove in neo minimal – a groove that I find often in tracks from the rominimal scene. Combine that with the historic idea of minimal in Berlin, let’s say the sound of the glory days at Bar25, and you'll get the sound I fell in love with. I like to use the word minimal even though many think it's a misnomer. But still I think it describes a certain feeling, historical concept and a scene to which I feel a sense of belonging.

I will post new recordings here from time to time, depending on how often I get the chance to prepare them.

Occasionally I play in Berlin. I've been posting official event dates on my blog for a while and now I even have Instagram.

Seit nun mehr 5 Jahren prägen wir mit unserem speziellen Sound zwischen Neuhofen und Waldsee am wunderbaren Schlicht Beach die hiesige elektronische Musikszene abseits des Mainstreams und laden bei unseren wöchentlichen Veranstaltungen zum chillen und grooven ein. Vom Sonnenuntergang bis in die Nacht hinein spielen unsere Resident-DJs und Gast-DJs einen harmonischen Mix zwischen Ambient über Downtempo bis hin zu Deep/Melodic/Hypnotic House. 

Wir verstehen unseren Sound als Vermittler der einzigartigen Atmosphäre zwischen Wasser, Strand, Wald und Sonne.
Unser Podcast wird diesen Sound kontinuierlich wiedergeben und anhand von Live-Sets, Studio-Mixes und Tracks könnt ihr euch einen persönlichen auditiven Eindruck von SchlichtSounds machen.

For more than 5 years now we have been shaping the local electronic music scene off the beaten track with our special sound and we invite you to chill and groove at our weekly events between Neuhofen and Waldsee at the wonderful Schlicht Beach. From sunset into the night we provide you an exquisite selection from Ambient to Downtempo to Deep/Melodic/Hypnotic House represented in rotation by our resident DJs and guest Djs. 

We understand our sound as a mediator of the unique atmosphere between water, beach, forest and sun.
Our podcast will continuously reproduce this sound and with the help of live sets, studio mixes and tracks you can get a personal auditory impression of SchlichtSounds.
