FnF Fall Campout 2023

🌞 Got around to uploading my live mix from our open air patio event, from back at the end of summer.

It was a great day… It was hot, but breezy up in the sky, with not a cloud in sight. Surrounded by loved ones, expressing themselves in dance and play… and that other worldly sunset. The gold and pink hues were just 🤌

This was the first time that I got to play a 2 hour set. One in which I was able to spread my legs a little and dip around into a lot of music I love. This set feels like a slow meditative burn transforming to a bursting firecracker and ending with the remaining embers of a memory. Starting it off mellowish and bringing up the energy for the second half. It was an absolute pleasure creating and mixing such a journey, and I really hope you enjoy it to ☺️💚🙏

Skygate Mix 2023

Let me take you back to the vortex of beautiful, mystical Lake Shasta. This was the 21st year since the maiden voyage. Nestled deep in the forest with around 80 beautiful souls dancing under the moonlight with an Void acoustics sound system. Life is but a dream, enjoy the  journey! Music is a force of nature.

Back to the Bash ~ Turkey Boogie 2023 ~ Closing Set

Last year I started my journey as a musical artist and launched YES! Records (with Jon and Jason). Creating beautiful original music to add to our collective global consciousness has filled my heart and soul in way that I previously could not imagine. I want there to be more love, more joy, more connection, more acceptance, more play, more inspiration, more hope, and more dancing in our world! That is my voice as an artist and inspiring that world to manifest is what I’m here to do.

Having a music label allows my to seek out, directly support, and uplift other artists who have the same mission and fill the world with the same flavor of beautiful, intention-filled music. Music is connecting, it is healing, it resonates within us on a deeper level. It can spark joy, open hearts, excite dance, and expand minds. So with YES! Records, in a not so small way, I can help create a more loving and compassionate world. What a blessing! What a gift!

Speaking of gifts, today I would like to share the gift of 90 incredible minutes of dance music with you. This is my set from our YES! From an early age Jake swam and explored the musical pools. Drifting from flavours to flavours. From headphones to festivals. He enjoyed the spaces it coloured, and the emotions it expressed…. within and without. Along his journey in his earthly vessel, he particularly grown an affinity to electronic music, but It wasn’t until the great shift of 2020 that he ventured forward into the world of djing to just give it a spin.

Though once that first jog was spun, the beat-match was put to the gasoline, and ever since then he's honed in on his sounds he wishes to play. Usually being pulled towards more uplifting, soulful or emotional melodic house/chill organic beats and mapping out a journey with them for the explorers to take on. Even a little dabbling in producing.

Jake aims to bring in more intention to the listener to help them work through themselves on the dance floor. But when duty calls, he is able to throw down, turn it up and bring up the mood to blast you off. So strap in, turn on your soul, for this isn't a normal field trip.
