My piece evolved sometime over summer / fall of 2014. It uses several of Utu's stems with strings, piano, and other recorded samples added. Louder is better on this one.

Musically striving to explore diverse genres without plainly trying to be someone I am not. My drive does not lie in the perfect emulation of specific styles.

Drawn to field recordings, sounds from scraps, moods, found sounds, traditional instruments. I am intrigued by 20th century and contemporary composers.

Born and raised in Germany, since a long time in the US. Schmaidl is my nickname from teenage times.
