Mirror Tapes Worldwide vol. 1 Snippets

In ‘Stockroom’, baye’s love of acid house and synth pop combine, before the spirit of Chicago house is invoked in ‘You Got Me’. In ‘Queens’, find an ode to a place where baye spent time growing up, and to his mother and centenarian grandmother who still live there.  Dan Snazelle transmutes the house spirit with techno alchemy in his remix of ‘You Got Me’. Finally, Beyond is an homage to the plant teachers.


The Spandrel EP represents the culmination of the sonic influences of a vibrant underground electronic scene that began developing in and around Providence, Rhode Island in 2019. The Spandrel features raw acidic and housey techno, some of the first styles that captured baye’s heart in the scene decades ago. Centered around vintage Roland x0x equipment, The Spandrel features a blend of raw hardware passion with high quality production and engineering techniques.

Heckadecimal has been making hardware-driven psychedelic electronic music since 2000, and more recently has been exploring video art the past few years.
There have been many collaborations—most notably with Naughty Wood as The Worm, and helping run Always Human Tapes. 
With recent releases on Kajunga, Great Circles, and Electric Music Foundation, and several self-released albums on bandcamp earlier this year, there's no sign of slowing down.

Brooklyn based techno producer and Snazzy Fx boss. Much of the hardware Dan uses in his productions and live sets was designed and built by him. His focus as an artist is on electronic music as a vehicle for achieving transcendent states. This comes out in his sets as a respect for both the funky and hypnotic aspects of dance music. As a DJ and live act, Dan has performed throughout Europe and is a regular fixture in NYC.

Dan also runs Snazzy FX, a relatively “out-there” synthesizer and effects
company established in 2009. He uses a lot of his own gear in this performance!

Recently Dan has released some serious techno on Jacktone, трип and Schmer.Look for his split EP with Jasen Loveland out on Schmer soon.
