HIP HOP PRODUCER.. I have a diverse ear for music. The many styles of music I touch has no boundaries. Being from the middle of North America, better known as the Midwest, has fed my diverse pallet.  
Peoria, Illinois is my hometown and the birthplace of many talented individuals. My hometown remains a hidden gem. In a world of trends and cookie cutter fads, I follow no fleeting waves of the moment, but am accepting of fresh ideas.
Ask me whats in my playlist, we go from Wu-Tang to Nirvana, John Mayer, Twista, E-40, to Under Ground Kings, Scarface, & of course the legendary OutKast just to name a few...
As a "producer" I lean toward the more lyrical side of music. I draw much of my production influence from the Dungeon Family with their ability to create genre bending funky hip hop music. 
I got my creative start with a team of friends with a similar vision to form an underground group by the name of LandMind. This group had an eclectic mix of lyricist and beat makers who didn't chase a sound or conform to what was mainstream, instead created their own lane..

My name is Scholar P and I will be bringing you critical breakdowns on race, relationships and social justice. I am coming from High Point, NC with sociological experience from Duke University, and Educational training from Harvard.
