As a DJ, producer and label boss of AEON, Berlin’s Alex Niggemann’s career has been instrumental in the continued development of electronic dance music. His ever-restless creativity and desire to build a platform for music that defines the deeper side of the electronic spectrum, led Alex to launch his very successful label, AEON in 2013 – an imprint which has gone on to play an integral part in building Alex’s impressive repertoire of releases to this point and beyond. His aim for the label is to build a representative artistic platform that mirrors the peak time DJ sets that he plays, referencing the spirit of classic, timeless house and techno and updating it for the future.

Het tweetal wordt gekenmerkt door een gemeenschappelijke liefde voor electronische muziek en de nachtelijke sferen daaromheen. Muzikaal gezien brengen ze een stevige nieuwe discosound. Het is een poppy mix van nu-disco en house, met een aanstekelijke drive; energiek, warm en vrolijk.

Hun enthousiasme heeft een ontwapenende uitwerking op het publiek en ze weten op een unieke manier een volwassen geluid te brengen zonder af te doen aan de dansbaarheid.

Inmiddels zijn Lustige Lola & Weltschmerz een vaste waarde in het nachtleven; met stijl, smaak en charisma. Als residents van de Dog Day Disco avonden in Paradiso zijn ze voorlopers met een sterk geloof in “disco in de disco”, iets dat ze al predikten op menig festival.

Zowel muzikaal als qua ambitie blijven Lustige Lola & Weltschmerz zich doorontwikkelen. Als new talent in de ADE special van DJBroadcast en hun laatste Mysteryland mix online bij 3VOOR12 ligt de wereld aan hun voeten.

Op hun trackrecord staan festivals als Lowlands, Mysteryland, ADE, Pitch, Valtifest, Solar, Discovery en grote clubs als Paradiso, Melkweg, Trouw, Club Up, Gashouder, Sugar Factory, OT301, Effenaar, 013, Tivoli en Ekko.

DJ Steve Paris, previously known as Dandy J, might ring a bell among fanatic gamers. He is a skilled treasure hunter in the nineties game Waku Waku 7, who travels around the world with his friends. That is exactly what this Dandy J does with his music: taking the listener on a musical journey through techno, electro, EDM, moombahton, (tropical) bass and more.

About 2,5 years ago he made his entrance in the world of dancemusic as live-deejay of the popular electro-act This Is Total War. Meanwhile he starts off the electro DJ-duo http://www.soundcloud.com/beatthebastardz. As bastard he played together with Relfy Beats (known from the popular electro live-act Space Pirates) over 150 gigs in the Netherlands, including some of Holland’s biggest festivals such as Lowlands, Defqon1 and Dancetour.

Dandy J is also active with balkan DJ Tommi in the moombahton formation http://www.soundcloud.com/beatthacalaveras. With Beat Tha Calaveras he played at popular dance-parties like Rauw, Wildgroei, Loos and two times the prestigious Amsterdam Dance Event Festival in 2012. 

After sharing the DJ booth for over 2,5 years with a DJ partner, the time has come for Jesper Davits to extand his (musical) horizon. Under his alter ego Dandy J he played at festivals like Mutesounds, LaLaland, Kindergarten and Amsterdam Dance Event.

The goal of Ray Bloomberg is pretty simple. Just make the biggest possible party of every gig he plays! Since building a party is not bound to a certain music style, you can expect everything on the dancefloor. From happy summer sounds to deephouse bangers and hip-hop to happy hardcore: you will hear it all in one shiny mix. If you do not dance, he will appeal you on your dancefloor-dancing-responsibilty with his badass microphone skills (no really… some venues book him as MC).
