Initially born as Beat Swap Meet Vinyl Radio in 2014, The Dusty Handclap is a radio show that strives to support independent soul, jazz, funk, and hip hop artists. Like any DJ worth their weight, we started our journey on vinyl and still believe it to be the ideal medium for recorded music. That being stated, we understand the changing tides of both music recording and production and it is our aim to continue to evolve along with the music. We will always cherish vinyl, not only as a material but as a larger culture, but ultimately we are choosing to love music as a whole over any specific mediums.
