This December we will be releasing the sophomore album by Polish producer Blossom, entitled „The Longest Journey“ on vinyl. As a bonus we added his debut album „Blue Balloons“ to the package, which will be pressed on vinyl for the first time. 

“The Longest Journey“ (2013) represents the musical journey of Łukasz Czajewski, depicting a one year cycle in his life, rich in thoughts, important life-events and experiences. He processed influences like nature, mind-created images and innervisions to create an album about one’s journey into the understanding of the world, soul, consciousness and creation. While seasons came and went, he reflected on these events and gained valuable experiences. Every single track has its unique meaning and is a part of this inner expedition. Ultimately, it all comes down to one question: Where are YOU heading in Your journey? 

Several months of hard work between January 2010 and October 2011 resulted in “Blue Balloons“, an album filled with delicately arranged downtempo guitar motifs, distinctive complex rhythms and complementing rich basslines, all encased in the unique aura that sorrounds http://soundcloud.com/lublossom’s debut album and gives it a deeply atmospheric feel.

London-based migrant, Ross Tones, makes music under the ever so pertinent moniker, Throwing Snow. Drawing influence from a vast array of genres, his production work possesses consistent and comforting warmth, while still glistening with a serene kind of steely coldness. After a series of acclaimed releases on labels like Local Action, Ho Tep, Sneaker Social Club and his own Snowfall imprint, Tones has since signed an exclusive solo album deal with Houndstooth, following the release of his collaborative project Snow Ghosts on the label in 2013/14.

The songs on Pathfinder are a route into a greater portion of work, giving a sense of what is to come. The overall sound palette and feelings portrayed are what matter, not genre, and the intention of Pathfinder is to be listened to on journeys. The track titles on the EP are meant to reflect the music itself, with lead single “The Tempest” building into sounds of a storm and “Pathfinder” evoking a tense and lost feeling before opening out into a clearing.

The Scientific Method is an artist name used by the American electronic producer Jim Hughes. Refusing to be confined by the boundaries of any one niche, one of his unique characteristics is his ability to create very unique sets of instrumentation that can rarely be confined to one genre. While very hard to classify, The Scientific Method could be compared to left field electronic artists such as Apparat, Ulrich Schnauss, Jon Hopkins, Ochre , Tycho and Boards Of Canada. At the same time avant-garde and classic, soothing and dissonant, The Scientific Method merges both musical genre and brain hemisphere.His music fuses a rich orchestral vibe with Glitch, IDM, and Braindance elements to create a sound that appeals to much more than just the EDM crowd.
