Helena Hauff's debut EP on her own label Return To Disorder, named Living With Ants features four electro tracks, that all vibrate in unison, such as a ripple that forms from throwing a stone into water. We choose "The Brush" track
Isochronic bass with fast pulse in the depth and an alive organic trapped acid into a liquid bottom climb out.  Synth tones that spread out imposing spherically from their source in all directions and melody under the depth qualities of the mysterious dark distance of a celestial body.

@SCIFACT is a Bristol-based record label interested in the realm of underground electronic music, unrestricted by genre. The first release comes from local producer @Zobol, with a 5 track EP, Foreign Objects, consisting of deep, melodic Electro with a dark edge.

Foreign Objects is the debut 12” from British artist Jon Chmielewski under the alias Zobol. The EP title alludes to a near death experience that resulted in Chmielewski being admitted into a Panamanian hospital with sepsis due to two shards of metal (from a dental drill) being accidentally sewn into his jaw after a traumatic wisdom tooth removal. The record artwork depicts a CT scan revealing the ‘foreign objects’ in his cranium.

@Derailleur announces new vinyl label Decade Box with the first in a series of releases to share the fruits of his dedication to machine made music. Set for release this September, Hydraulic Performer EP will be the first record on Decade Box, a sonic time capsule which will present the music honed by the producer over the last 10 years.

The release sets the tone for the label series, showing off two different sides of Derailleur’s production styles. Title track Hydraulic Performer is a raw and cutting rave-primed electro track. Radioactive Man is called up to remix adding a new angle with his precision drum programming. Device One rounds up the EP with a shuffling techno track warmed up by stepping synth stabs.

Following his timely 2004 debut on Varial, Derailleur has also released on Dust Science, Soma and Harmless. With a strong commitment to hardware based recording and performance, 2019 brings in a new chapter for the France based producer and DJ.

PREMIERE: Derailleur - Hydraulic Performer (Radioactive Man remix)

Momentum, harsh lights, speeding cars in a plume of acrid air. Perched, immovable as life's effervescence passes around and through their features. The little motorised ants like little nodes in an immense, unfathomable industrial network. Their occupants speaking indistinctly, creating abstraction and a performance they don’t realise they are part of. When their lane changes, they have no idea why, but they adapt. When they realise, they aren’t communicating with the other occupants, they reverse; only to find the road pushes them forward on a never-ending conveyer belt. Towards and indescribable fiction they can’t attain, their myopia, their reality.

Bristol-based SCI-FACT label’s inaugural release comes in the form of a five track EP, 'Foreign Objects'  from Jon Chmielewski AKA Zobol. The rather aptly named title refers to a near death experience that occurred as a result of a wisdom tooth removal gone awry. Two shards of metal (from a dental drill), depicted in the record artwork, were accidentally sewn into Chmielewski’s jaw, leading to an admission into a Panamanian hospital for the treatment of sepsis. Now back in a creative space Zobol explores dark, ethereal textures with glistening, melodic tonality and driving, momentum-inducing beats.

Olivia is a prolific figure in Kraków's flourishing music scene. As a DJ, producer, promoter and activist she's worked hard to put the Polish city on the map for over a decade, becoming a key voice in the development and awareness of the local scene. 

This all started 13 years ago with Chrono Bros, a project conceived with her brother Kinzo Chrome, which sees them weave together Italo, wave, electro and new beat. Alongside him and her partner Chino she also runs the We Are Radar parties, which, for the last seven years, has been one of the most reputable club nights in the city. On top of this she is a longstanding resident for Unsound, one of Europe's leading experimental electronic music festivals, as well as making up part of the Oramics collective, a Polish platform that supports women, non-binary and queer DJs and artists.

Looking ahead Olivia has some more exciting collaborative projects in the works: the first is called Morskie Oko, a hybrid DJ and live act alongside Steffen Bennemann and Chino; the second is another project with Chino called Radiation 30376, a live act that will debut at Unsound Festival this year. 

With so many projects in the works, we feel very privileged that she found the time to deliver this incredible mix for us here at R$N HQ. Lock in to the sounds of one of Kraków's finest...

Active since the early 1990s, the Master of Rave Ceremonies Olivier Abbeloos of T99, lands on Pls.UK with a rave oriented 4-track EP.

The man behind the timeless tune 'Anasthasia', comes back! First in the ceremony, 'Deliver' fuses rich synths and melancholic pads with the producers' signature fast paced drums, leaving no rest for the wicked. The darker tone of the second track 'Twisted Driver' sets the tone into full energy.
