Scintilla deliver their second single Hillside and provide hope for those in lockdown whilst embracing the summer with very open arms. This fast-paced yet nostalgic new track paints a picture of an LA style romance, and depicts a fictional love story that longs for adventure and represents the unpredictable stop-start nature of the pandemic restrictions in the UK. The smoothly layered chorus harmonies deliver a sense of warmth as the RnB-infused journey unravels and the duo uses the verses to dive deeper into their Hip Hop roots to really tell us how bright the future feels. The duo use an array of references and sounds to assist in painting a clear and vivid image of how beautiful life can be, and will be again.

Scintilla are a new Hip Hop duo based in South England, who until only recently made beats as jesting gifts for their mates, until it was mutually decided that Scintilla would take the name for the pair's future work. Their sound tips a hat to the likes of production wizard Mike Dean (Travis Scott) whilst still illuminating and acknowledging their own plethora of inspirations and attitudes from the 21st century.
