With a lifespan of only two to four weeks, time is precious to butterflies, and it highlights a secret — butterflies possess timekeeping abilities in their antennae. 

They also can track the sun’s position with their eyes, a navigational skill used for migration, and their vision includes ultraviolet light, something humans cannot see. 

Of their many secrets — the sense of taste is in their feet, their wings are dead cells, they have existed for 60 million years, are biologically diverse with 20,000 species, and can fly as fast as 37 MPH or 59 KM/H — the fact that some butterfly species migrate thousands of miles during their short lifetimes is astonishing. 

Short lives necessitate making the best of every moment of life, and perhaps that’s the secret to the longevity of 60 million years of the butterfly species.

This is actually the third version of the song. I felt the original idea I’d roughed out with the keyboard and computer could be more interesting. So I reworked the whole track again (twice) adding several ‘hooks’. These were some vocal ‘stabs’, some keyboard/synth riffs as well as writing ( what I hope ) is a more interesting bass line. I beefed up the drum section too. I hope the fun I had creating it is reflected in the overall vibe of the track. Having said all this, the question is: did it actually work?

I was interested in music in my early youth... so I soon got my first synthesizer and set up a small home recording studio.
over the years i played keyboards in 5 bands...the direction was rock...pop...blues and soul.
in the meantime i have discovered my enthusiasm for creating my own songs.
it makes me happy when I can compose...arrange...mix...produce and create something new.
it's like a passion to experiment with different styles of music... and it gives me a lot of joy.
the only limit is your imagination...
is my motto.
and everything is possible...you just have to try.
